    Pack Meeting Begins

    * Kova her frame would’ve closed the distance as swiftly as she could and when she reached the Alpha’s stone, she would take the rise of it and walk towards the edge. Once there, she’d lift her muzzle and howl for a gathering! When those who where within would hear her call and those not within the clearing may or may not, the meeting would be called. If Maeve happened to be within the clearing mong’ the gathered she would tilt her head but offer a dip of her head to the fae. She would be curious to know where she’d been this whole while. For now, though, her eyes where focused to those who would heed the call. “Welcome” she would call swiftly. Her eyes following each wolf who was present.”I thank all of you for heeding my call on such short notice.” she said with a light expression. She would take in a low breath before chuffing. “I would like to call forward Leora and Kaia.” she said now turning to those whom where present.

*Faelcu The fae could only silently nod at her mentor at his closing statement. There wasn’t anything left to say, really, so she let her gaze drift. Perhaps she’d see an unfamiliar face among the growing crowd, but her eyes befell upon a more familiar figure. Seeing Kaia approaching, Faelcu would swish her tail and give her a wolffish grin, happy to see her again after what felt like ages. “Kaia!” She’d woof in her direction as the speckled fae walked over to her and Leora. “How do you fare? Are you well?” Faelcu would then hush down upon hearing the alphess howl, and the old fae focused her attention on the meeting ahead. She could only guess what was about to be said since Leora and Kaia had been called forth.

    * Shukie As her sister called the meeting she straightened, a smile forming upon her muzzle as the two faes were called forth, ears perked forward.

    * Rook No sooner would he have the opportunity to dip his nose in a quiet greeting to Kaia than she and his sister were called forward. Considering meetings had been quite spartan as of late, the added few wolves would not go unnoticed; the fickle and flighty brood of his sister not withstanding.

    * Maeve it would seem that indeed a shindig was afoot, and the young muddy fae would take a seat close by to watch over the proceedings. If indeed she’d catch Kova’s gaze she’d offer a wag of her tail, happy to see her and seemingly well enough! Though she’d more than likely see to more conversation after the important business is concluded. For now she’d quietly listen in, her gaze looking to Leora, happy to see her seemingly also doing well.

    * Kaia there was little time to settle it seemed, but she’d offer a familiar brush of her muzzle to faelcu, firm and friendly to her kin. As she offered in a hushed tone “I am well” she didn’t want to speak during the meeting but she didn’t want faelcu worrying. “Would you take care of this a moment?” She said then she’d lay the feather at faelcus paws, she didn’t have time to wait for an answer before she got up moving to join leora if the fae seemed to be ready, kaia would not step forward without her it seemed.

    * Leora she would shift her weight and look between Faelcu, Rook, Shukie, Maeve and then Kaia. She ruuued seeing her neice! She hadn’t seen her in a lonnggg while!! Oh, she had to bade her excitement before turning her hues then towards Kova when her name was pressed to the ears of those present and Kaia to accompany her. She would bow her head and rise, her demeanor now shifting drastically to a more serious one. She approached, dipped her head. “Alphess” she said seating herself and leaving Kaia room to seat beside her.

    * Faelcu would have invited the nuzzle, leaning into it some with a smile. Hearing that Kaia was okay brought her relief, and she silently nodded to her request when a feather was placed by her paws. Lightly, she’d place a paw on it just so it wouldn’t blow in the wind. After that, her attention on the ongoing meeting as she waited to hear what would be announced next.

    * Kaia and Leora approached she’d smile, she turned a moment to those gathered before she looked to the rest. “Kaia and Leora have come back from their trials faced with by their mentor.” her hues fell to her mate a moment and then back to the others. “Their trials have been far beyond just a singular task, but an accumulation of many. The road and path to becoming that of a WolfSpirit is long as it is as long as the dedication set forth by those who seek it.” she turned to the others with a light expression, a prideful one.  ” I would ask Kaia and Leora… ” she turned to the pair. “Do you both still desire to continue on this path to become that of WolfSpirits?” she would look to the pair with equally soft hues but curious all the same. She’d ensure that this was truly their path.
    * Kova as Kaia and Leora approached she’d smile, she turned a moment to those gathered before she looked to the rest. “I would ask Kaia and Leora… ” she turned to the pair. “Do you both still desire to continue on this path to become that of WolfSpirits?” she would look to the pair with equally soft hues but curious all the same. She’d ensure that this was truly their path.
    * Kaia Kaia would have taken her place beside leora when the fae offered it,and she did so greagfully. Glad to be beside her now when all was stiller that it had been together in the wood. To kovas next words Kaia paused, not for long. Tommorow would bring more complex news, and her decision. But that was as true in her heart as this was, for today atleats this much she knew “I do” then she offered a brief smile to leora “there is much in this place worth protecting” that much was quieter more to herself than anyone else. But that was always why she’d stayed, what was found here, was special. And she wanted to see that sanctity preserved as much as she wished to be part of It.
    * Leora she would look to Kaia a moment and nose her firmly. She’d whisper kindly..  “Together..” And it was there she turned to Kova and when she inquired to her path now before her, she simply stomped her paw but gave a smile.  “I am ready.” she said with a confident tone and a slight poof of her chest.
    * Rook looked and listened on as the two faes who had conquered more than just a trial were set to become members of the pack. No greater expose or internal monologue was needed to clarify what they had done and displayed to get here, but he was happy to have seen it play out.

    * Kova she would look to Kaia and Leora and when both offered their heart upon their chests as well as their will to see the path forward in full she grinned with equal pride to their shared words. She turned to look to her mate a moment then back to Kaia and Leora.

“Your paths together have been your own but as well together, forged and built.” she would press her paw upon the stone a moment before stommping it.

“Those who’ve come before you have sworn a creed of life to this home and to this pack. As a member, you will uphold the ways and rules of the pack for those who are to come before and after. You will be the name of WolfSpirits not just in it’s name, but as a part of it’s lore and history from now until the last breath you share to this world and earthly plain. Even should your path ever stray, a home here will always be true.” she looked between Kaia and Leora. “Whether born to it or not, each path is carved intricatly by ones spirit and dedication. You both have proved over and over again that dedication. That heart. That spirit. Approval has been given by Rook, your mentor, that you are ready to become a member of WolfSpirits. Stand before the pack today, this very evening, and receive your names.” She took a step forward.

“Kaia, I proudly name you subordinate and member of WolfSpirits. Welcome home.” she’d smile then turn to the light colored fae. “Leora, I proudly name you subordinate and member of WolfSpirits. Welcome home.” and with that she’d feel the welling in her chest grow. Her heart grow. Her blood grow warm with the pride she held for the pair and those who will come after. They had great heart and promise and she was glad to see them fulfilled in their path. One traversed with many more to go for this was just the beginning.

She’d let loose a low, deep and powerful howl for the pack’s newest members!

    * Shukie As her sister’s cemented the two fae’s acceptance she too gave a double stamp of her paws and added her slightly deeper tones to Kova’s and any others that joined in as well. A day she was glad to have been here for
*Maeve, never one to pass up a good celebratory howl, and one for her beloved auntie no less, would raise her voice to join in congratulating the newly named subordinates! It had been some time since her voice had joined those of the pack but it was mighty cathartic! She’d need to make a mental note to bug Leora and ask for any stories she might have about those aforementioned trials! There was likely much to catch up on.

    * Faelcu The old fae listened intently to Kova’s, her eyes focused on the silvery fae. When the speech was concluded with the two faes being named Subordinates, Faelcu firmly stomped her paw. Her head would lift back as she let out a loud, low howl to congrat the two. The old fae felt proud of them both. How far they came and where they found themselves now.

    * Kaia listened intently, she could feel her heart beating, nerves? Maybe, for only now did she truly understand the outcome of the trial. But she offered a firm stamp of her paw, mostly for leora. But in some ways with hope to grow that sense of belonging. That wherever she might tread, she had a place here. With what family she had found. Kaia offered no grand howl, not a quiet one either, but she did close her eyes and raise her head to listen to others songs breaking through the day, a large grin peeling across her face, of that feeling when you couldn’t quite stop smiling. There was grief sewn through that smile, but different from that she’d carried with her when she arrived here nine months ago.

    * Leora she would feel the presence of many within. Their voices and their presence was felt. Oh how it was felt. She felt her heart beat. Her body tense with emotions of many kinds. Oh how she wished her sisters where here. Kwa’ani, Fianna. Her brother Redwing. Her mother and father. She took a moment to look over her shoulder to the east, beyond the course and into the hollows. As if she could listen to the gentle wind and hear the aurum. Her mother and fathers breath. She would lift her muzzle and howl for her and Kaia’s advancement!

    * Rook The Song deserved to be beckoned in times like these, so he would add his note to those summons and howl alongside those offering congratulations to his sister and to Kaia. For most, this is where things ended or devolved. He hoped that Kaia and trusted that his sister would find inroads further into humility and service. If they didn’t, then that was fine. It was perfectly fine to be a member of the pack and nothing else.

    * Kova she would shift her gaze between Kaia and Leora when her howl would seize it’s call. She hoped that their voices would reach the golden aurum as well and when all had been offered and said she smiled.  “You may take your place amongst family” she said with a softness in her hues. She turned back to the others.  “Does any wish to bring forward a note or more to the meeting before I continue?”

    * Shukie Rising she nodded to Kova. I have a few things to share, both news and a request, if you will. Casting a glance toward Rook and Leora as well then back to her sister.

    * Kaia When kova spoke again kaia would dip her head, she owed many thanks to her mentor, and her alphess. But for now most sentiments would have to wait.  Once the song seemed done kaia would offer a gentle muzzle to leora as the fae had done her, then she’d find her way beside faelcu leaving a space beside her should the fse wish to take it.  Before she settled in to listen to shukie

    * Leora she would have bowed her head to Kova before turning and nosing Kaia swiftly and quickly! There was a pridefulness within her as she gleamed. She would then turn and make her way to the gathered before she’d seat herself beside her brother, Rook. She leaned in and brushed her nose along his swiftly and that golden light would be shinning ever bright. She turned to Shukie curiously and swung her tail.

    * Rook When the Song settled and there was quiet, he too would fall within its envelope. He had nothing to add to the what had been shared and seen. The night had been given to celebration, and so he would revel in it in his own way.

    * Kova

her hues fell towards Shukie and when she inquired to speak she would dip her head and offer in a light nod.
    Part 2
    “of course” she said.
    * Faelcu Seeing Kaia and Leora sitting near her, Faelcu offered the faes a smile and a sway of her tail. She’d have to properly congrat them on their newly earned ranks later, as it now appeared that Shukie had some words to offer in the meeting. Her attention would be on her elder, her ears straight forward to listen.
    * Shukie Moving to such a position she could see not only Kova but the pack as well. “Since my return I have painstakingly moved about the lands relearning what secrets it will share.” pausing for a bit, a quick swirl of her tongue around her muzzle. “In the recent quiet I ventured to our lands to the northeast to pay my respects, a personal pledge, to Nova and Kilmaten hwom aided us in our battle.” Again she paused. “I have found signs that Kwa’ani has been there as well, perhaps in hte past 6 to 8 turns of the moon. This is the first I’ve crossed her path since leaving.” A slow sweeping wag of her tail against the dying summer grasses.

    * Kova her silvern hues would befall her sister as she’d offer words and speak what lay to her mind and will to present to the pack itself. Her heart light and she listened intently. When she would make mention of Kwa’ani, she tilted her head rather swiftly but more so in curious intent.”Kwa’ani?” she would say. “That’s curious, but I am glad to hear that she might still be alive. I wonder were her path may lead and will keep a nose out.” she added. “Thank you for your report” she offered with a dip of her head. “And welcome back” she said with a swing of her tail before stilling. She’d be curious what she meant by the other secrets. Perhaps she’s found something of interest?

    * Rook the packlands comprised a great many corners and pieces of annexed and unused history that he’d not think this observation far fetched nor would he find the mention of other secrets out of bounds. Like a fledgling owl or hawk, Kwa probably didn’t venture too far from her birthplace, but what kept her away was what kept her away. Unless she was here or had a mind to be here, it made little difference that she was miles or leagues away than to twinge the heart strings a sister he barely knew resided on. Rook said nothing in response to the news and enticement and would begin to see himself away from the fray near the stone and to the river’s edge north of it. Such things could be bartered for later if their value was true.

    * Leora her hues fell to Kova then to Shukie. She perked her ears at the mention of Kwa’ani? She hadn’t seen the fae for a very long long while. In fact, if she recalled memories correctly she was just a wee pup when the fae had decided to go off on her own. She would dip her head to Shukie and then to Kova. She would look towards her brother as he seemed to move off to the north.
    * Faelcu No words would offered from her, either. She couldn’t say that the name struck her as familiar, but if it was a missing pack member, then she hoped that Kwa’ani was well wherever she was now.
*Shukie With a dip of her head to Kova, she stepped back once more, the request put on the back burner.
    * Maeve As the seated Rook would move away for the evening the spot beside Leora would quickly be stolen by her niece Maeve, who would offer a happy nosing to her side as she’d settle in! She’d hear of the news of young Kwa’ani, and the information might provide an extra swish to her banner. She’d settle quietly for the moment, not wishing to be a disturbance but still very much keen to enjoy Leora’s company before it gets toooo late in the evening! What scents might she detect on the fae’s pelt? My, how she wondered what her auntie had been up to! But questions would wait

    * Kova she’d look to Shukie and remain standing there as she’d listen intently to her words. She had a request but when she didn’t seem to bring it forward she wouldn’t push her to announce it but she’d allow her a few more moments. She would swing her tail ever so lightly to her sister. She’d much to discuss with her still. “I appreciate the ears, Shukie” she said kindly. She turned to the rest. “Does any others wish to bring forward their own words before I conclude tonight’s meeting?” she would perk curiously.

    * Faelcu since no one else stepped forward to share their words, Faelcu took her chance to speak on one thing. Minor, but still important since Kova had asked her to a few days ago.  “I would like to briefly add that I haven’t found anything noteworthy on the West side of the territory,” she said with a light dip of her head before sitting back down.

    * Kova she would smile to Faelcu and dip her head inviting the fae to speak as well. To her report she dipped her head. “Thank you Faelcu” she said. “I was going to make another round of scoutings once more. Perhaps those who are able to make it, I wouldn’t mind additional company to help mark further beyond my own.” she said aloud.
