    Pack Meeting Begins

<Kova> Her path would take her in the direction of the Alpha’s stone with a swiftness that carried her for now was the time for their calling. Her paws lithe, ears forward and eyes observant to who was around and make a mental note of each.

As she reached the stone she’d gently leap to it’s surface and head to its end where her paws would reach the rocks edge. There, she would rise her head up and let loose a low howl. A calling for a gathering.

    Awwwwwoooooooooo**ooooooooo!

⊰✲ Rune approaches the Clearing’s southeastern corner, the scents of some other wolves brought to her nose. Kova and Fern’s scents somewhere to the northeast. She couldn’t be sure which direction they were headed in, but Rune elects to stay the course and continue into the Clearing, padding slowly towards the Alpha Rock. It would quickly become clear to her that the day’s warmer weather and greater amounts of sunlight had brought together much of the pack. Her ears perk to the small figures of wolves peppered across the space in front of her. For now, there seemed to be nothing dramatic occurring, and thus, Rune would continue at a leisurely pace towards Alpha Rock. ✲⊱

<CwnAnnwn> He was tavelling through southern sections of the hunting grounds and could now see the trees that bordered the hunting grounds and clearing. He was keeping a steady pace until the sound of the alpha faes call for a gathering reached him. He quickened his pace, it would not be long before he would reach the trees and begin weaving his way between them on his way to the gathering.

<Leora> the yearling hadn’t been far from the clearing and even more so wolves started to come in after she heard a howl. She was busy working up the course real nice n pretty! Oh man, this was going to be fun. It was there, hark, the howl and call for a gathering and so she would swiftly drop (literally) what she was doing and bound out of the eastern woods towards the clearing!
When she reached the openness, she looked around swiftly. She’d see her brother and sister near a gathered few but would she notice Daithi? Ragaire? Anyone else? Surely so! She would bound over to the gathered but seemed to head in Kova’s direction knowing what the call meant.
<Saskia> The brown fae would hear the call to a meeting, and would turn to see Kova approaching the alpha stone. She’d turn back to the small gathering group and would hum before trotting towards the Northern edge of the rock, seating herself close to the stone. She’d quietly glance around to see who was about.
<Panther>The brute had previously left the carcass, and now he would be entering the clearing. Unaware of the newcomer that had come up on the carcass, he would keep on padding towards the Alpha Rock, having heard a howl – likely a signal for a meeting. His gaze scanning the area as he made his way in from the eastern treeline.
<Fern> ears swiftly shot up to the sound of a howl, and close by. Her paws began to hurry faster, up to a quick paced trot as if she was going to miss anything by not being at the stone right on time! She would glance to her left, down south to see Rune taking a more laid back approach. Oh my gosh! Rune’s alive~ Fern gave an excited wave of her tail to the ivory fae before continuing on with determined strides. Of course, she would offer her signature gentle chuff to the ones out there already before her.
<Fianna>would look to Saskia, and for the fae’s sake more than anything else, feeling the nuzzling the fae had done earlier as if belatedly, she allowed her demeanor to relax a small bit, perhaps noticing her brother heading their way as well.
Before she could speak again, Grimolf startled her with his next words, and the sentiments conveyed therein. She blinked, head tilting and took a moment to consider what lay beneath his words. This. This was the most obvious attempt and sign of change she had seen. It would not be unanswered.
“I am glad you have returned unhurt, Grimolf, I do not wish any ill, unless they truly hurt my home, Kin, or pack. “If you do not mean ill then I have no further quarrel with you.” She offered in a blunt but slightly softened way. “I accept your apology, and I am glad for it, but know that I let action speak louder than words. At least within our pack..” Fianna would perk to Kova’s howl.
“It seems a meeting has been called, ” She offered curiously. She’d offer Saskia a knowing glance and her tail swayed some.
“You are welcome to join us and sit nearby if you wish.” She turned to offer Grimolf, trying, now for his sake as well as Saskia’s, to let things smooth over, if only a little.
She would spot Ragaire as soon as the young one could be spotted and she’d chuff to the fae, worry wrinkling her brow. “Ragaire would be a good one to apologize to as well.” She offered lightly to Grimolf, then, carefully, she’d press her nose to his shoulder and depart toward the stone, leaving him to decide if he’d like to join, gesturing for Riki as well, if she’d like.
<Sanek> had fallen asleep just on the outskirts of a Clearing, but the loud howl had caused him to stir. His head rose sleepily, his eyes half-closed, looking like he was about to sneeze. Instead he shook out his fur and slowly rose to his paws to heed the call to gather. As he neared the stream he eyed it wondering if the ice was still enough to hold his weight. Carefully, he placed his forepaws on the very edge of the stream and used them to push himself off into a long leap to the other side. His hindlegs barely skimmed the ice on the other side but otherwise his landing was quite graceful. He continued forth towards the Alpha Rock.
<Rook>  Well, a few things would happen in the intervening moments that would ultimately lead him to turn from his present course toward Fianna and the others. The two simplest events were a capitulation of sorts from Grim…a withdrawal of form and his sister’s response to such. The other was simply his court’s call for a meeting. Time ticked on, and he’d not hold up the proceedings any further for things that should take place outside of it. Rook would turn and make his way toward the circle of wolves stationing themselves near the Alpha’s rock and would sit back upon his haunches to hear and observe news of the pack’s progression.
<Rikki> Riki wouldn’t pay much mind to the conversation between Grimolf and Fianna though a loud howl would reach her ears, upon Fianna’s explanation the little wolf would gasp. She understood now, maybe this was how she could join the pack? With that in mind the adolescent nods following after Fianna and Saskia with an eager mind towards the Alphas Stone. She was more then excited to see how this gathering may go.
<Rowan> had found herself further into the hunting grounds last night, and she had continued her venture towards the clearing in the early morning. Now, she would likely be at a vantage where she could watch the unfamiliar wolf and what seemed to be Ophaelos darting towards the clearing. She hummed softly, perhaps she also noticed the howl? Either way, she would pick up her pace and trot quickly after the pair of wolves – and the clearing.
<Rune> ⊰✲ The Caretaker licks her nose apprehensively, there were far more wolves up ahead than she had originally anticipated. Kova’s howl confirmed the thought she had begun to form, glad that there was nothing of dire concern bringing the pack together. Taking stock of who was within the Clearing, Rune looks for her mate. Upon seeing that the brute was not there she settles on her haunches to the south of the rock, dipping her head to Kova. Every time she took note of a wolf, a new one appeared, flocking to the Clearing in droves. At the sight of Fern, Rune dips her head to the pearl-colored fae, offering a chuff in return. Once again, a passing gesture, but very little in the way of passing knowledge. She still had much to teach Fern and Fern had much to learn. ✲⊱
<Kova> her hues would drift to each wolf who was present within the clearing. She would take a mental note of each wolf who had heeded the call and morphed out of the woods. “Thank you everyone for attending this evenings proceedings and meetings call.” she dipped her head to each of the wolves she would count. Her ears were forward and eyes locked ahead now scanning each wolf. Her hues would befall the caretaker Rune. She swung her tail and smiled lightly before chuffing to her to step forward. “Rune, will you please come forward”
<CwnAnnwn> Silver male slipped into the clearing from a spot slightly east-northeast of the alpha rock, eyes scanning the clearing to see whom was present, noting those who were there and those who were arriving just as he was. One wolf stood out, his mate. Tail swaying happily behind his frame, he trotted towards her, nodding to those he passed on his way. Before he could reach the fae, Kova called her forward. Head tilted slightly, he would reach the spot that she was settled at before settling himself, curious about what she had been called up for.
<Calder> he had been just outside the southern edges of the clearing, having begun to make his way back into the fold when he heard the howl just at the fringe. His paws quickened and the pace would spurr him forward and into the open expanse to see that he’d just slipped in, in time to hear the call and now the gathered. He’d look among them all and seeing his mate, he’d close the distance swiftly to her. A nosing was offered but he’d seat himself proper.
<Ragaire>  was off to the back of the group that was forming, though she would have not yet found a place to plunk her hindquarters down. She was pacing and hovering around the edge of the gathering group, wanting to avoid a few of the wolves present. Ugh, Rune, her momma, and that creepy, scarred, staring-contest-losing black brute were all here! How was she supposed to stay away from all of them, huh? How inconsiderate of them, it was like they were in cahoots with each other. She watches as all of the wolves settle slowly. Her amber eyes perk up momentarily and her tail wags when she sees her puppa, but it doesn’t take long for her to remember that he was also in cahoots. As Kova begins to speak, Ragaire finds a spot to the west of the stone, sitting just close enough to hear what was going on.
<Fern> Wait a minute… Is that Grimolf-? Her golden hues narrowed in on the dark brute before she forced them away. Nope! Nope! Don’t even look.. For the stars above, she hoped it wouldn’t turn out like the last time Grimolf was at a meeting, he must have changed for the pack to even consider letting him join in one again, right? Oh well, she’ll just have to deal with it. She would have found her seat before Kova started speaking, probably near Saskia or someone she knew best of course if they weren’t already crowded, but after comfortably in her place she would listen closely as Kova called on her mentor’s name.

<Rune>For a moment, Rune was surprised, not expecting to be called forward. However, it was just for a moment, as her memory wound its way backwards to a moment shared between herself and Kova some months ago. Her tail wags lightly as she rises to her paws, approaching the large stone at the center of the gathered wolves. The Caretaker pauses before the rock, remaining on her paws and looking up towards her Alpha with a soft expression.

<Panther> As Panther trotted closer to the Alpha Rock, he would spot his mate. Immediately, he would head over to her, seating himself next to her as Rune was called up. He’d nose her shoulder, then focus on the meeting.
<Kova> When Rune approached the stone, she would dip her head with admiration for the fae and had taken stock of how she looked and fared. Hoping she was well, she knew she’d be told otherwise. “Rune, I call you before the stone with admiration in my heart and with a humble request.” she would feel her paws hold firm to the stone. “For many moons, you have been this packs caretaker. You’ve led, guided, healed and tended to the pack and it’s man wounds over the years. Your knowledge is immeasurable as is your heart for this pack. You’re attention and your devotion is like no other, and I would like to ask you, Rune Caretaker of WolfSpirits, if you would do us the honor of continuing to lead and guide, with the role of Lead Caretaker.”
<Leora> the yearling would’ve seen her brother and sister among the crowd and le-gasp. Was that Ragaire!? Oh! Her expression seemed so excited, so happy, and changed to see so many gathered. She knew the rules, and she knew the decorum and would silently but swiftly speed her way towards the direction of her brother and sister and Ragiare. If there was a spot she’d squeeze in and seat herself like a little marshmallow.
<Rowan> would be a few lengthy strides away from the two males, though considering she was trailing behind them, they likely wouldn’t notice her presence. Her tail swayed as she continued to trot along behind them, if they were stopped then she *may* catch up before they began towards the clearing again.
    * Sanek he saw Panther join those gathered, and if his gaze happened to meet his he would offer a smile, remembering what they had talked about. This glance would be brief, though, and his attention was right back on Rune. His head tilted in curiosity, having never heard the term ‘lead Caretaker’. Perhaps this meant there could be more than one herb wolf?
<Rune> Surprise again, but this time a surprise that prompts Rune to lift her posture. “The WolfSpirits pack has guided me and healed me more than I can express, and to be this pack’s Caretaker has been an honor. I humbly accept the role of Lead Caretaker and look forward to continuing to protect our path forward.” She dips her head, tail swaying gently behind her. Lead Caretaker… how far she had come.
<Fianna> wouldn’t mind Grimolf following them, “of course, that sounds a fine a plan.” She’d have responded to him and she would have found a place among the group as the meeting got started. When she saw Ragaire see them, and choose to sit somewhere else her heart would fall and yet she knew perhaps her daughter needed time, after the news was shares.. Yet it ached all the same. She would nuzzle into Calder when he’d arrive as well, her eyes moving to Grimolf occasionally, but mostly curious as Rune was called up. Her suspicions were proved correct with Kova’s next words and she’d feel her tail begin to sway, happy and heart full for the caretaker. It was well placed, the lead role for Rune had tended them all many many times. She would ready her howl for the high rank! Quietly she’d listen for the opportunity to celebrate.
<Rook> would nose at his little sister and look to the others surrounding the fray. The bean counter, Grim, would be met with Rook’s gaze as he counted those that had interrupted meetings past. Had he caught an exchanged look between Grim and Fern? Would it matter? Rook would depart from his little sister’s side and move to sit directly beside Grim like a father in church just waiting. Here, he’d stomp his paws to the earth below for Rune. He wondered if the others would finally acknowledge her mastery of herb lore or if WebMD would remain the vogue.
<Kova> As Rune would accept the position, she would smile and wave her tail ever so softly behind her. A humbleness held true in her heart and her eyes for the fae and the knowledge she’s shared for the pack and with the pack. “You honor me and WolfSpirits, Lead Caretaker of WolfSpirits.” her head dipped and she’d gently paw the stone before she’d rise her muzzle skyward and let loose a low, deepened howl. One that would sing the congratulations for such an advancement for Rune, their Lead Caretaker. As her song would lyrically twist into the sky with a beautiful harmonic, it eventually would settle into the far distance with those who added theirs, to. “Rune, will you please remain here for a moment more.”
<Saskia>Saskia hummed as Fern and Panther approached, and would nose both. She’d nuzzle her mate compassionately before licking Fern’s cheek softly. “Hello, you two.” She whispered. As Rune came forth to the stone, she’d be curious as to what she was being called for. When the fae was named Lead Caretaker, she would stamp her paw firmly and wag her tail. Such a fitting promotion! When she was called to remain, Saskia would listen.
<Calder>he would listen to the proceedings and when the first event was named and howled, he would offer a howl as well for Rune. He thought a very fitting and fine role for the fae.
<Grimolf> It was no secret that Grimolf looked EXTREMELY out of place here. The scarred brute was looking left to right trying his best not to be — himself ? That’s when he raised his expression at the sight of Rook walking over towards him, taking his place directly beside him. ‘ Lore master ? ‘ he questioned not knowing why Rook went out of his way to sit by him of all wolves.
<Rikiwulf> The little wolf followed closely behind Fianna, keeping close to her, feeling safe with the kind guardian fae. She would choose to stay beside Fianna though keeping a close enough distance so she could stay beside her mate. She sat still, staring up at the Alphas Stone, watching as the caretaker got her promotion of sorts, she felt an overwhelming sense of happiness for this wolf, an unknown wolf to her but she could tell the wolf seemed well loved. The little wolf remained quiet, making sure to remain as respectful as possible while she sat still.
<Fianna> A howl was lead by the Alphess and so Fianna would join in the song! Her tail..swayed and if if she was close enough to Leora, she would nuzzle lick the fae’s shoulders and muzzle briefly. Trying to catch Ragaire’s eye. She would tilt her head and offer beseeching eyes that said I miss youuuu to the fae, even as she perked to Kova’s next words.
<CwnAnnwn> Silver male listened as Kova spoke to Rune about the role of Lead Caretaker, his heart swelling with pride for his mate, he knew that she well and truly deserved the role now being bestowed upon her. When Kova named her as Lead Caretaker and howled for her, he tilted his head back and let out a howl of congratulations for his heart, his voice full of pride and happiness for the fae. He lowered his head, his voice fading as Kova asked Rune to remain for a moment longer.
<Rune> paws do not move, and her tail continues to sway behind her as she watches Kova. The ivory wolf nods her head to Kova’s request, remaining at the base of the stone.
<Panther> His tail swayed as he listened to the Alphess, he’d nuzzle mate, dipping his head. “Hello, dear.” He offered in hushed tones, dipping his head to Fern as well. He hadn’t even noticed her approach, he offered an apologetic smile. Panther looked back over, offering a howl, and a stomp of his paw.
<Sanek> once Kova let loose her howl he joined in with a song raised to the sky for Rune, expert on herbs and hardworking packmember, from Caretaker to the noble position of Lead Caretaker.
<Rune> ⊰✲ Her eyes scan the wolves around her, noting a few that had filtered in quietly since Kova’s howl. One of the wolves present was Rook, whose own promotion to the lead of his rank spoiled by insubordinate quarreling. She felt sorry for the brute, her own advancement seemingly going without interruption. ✲⊱
<Fern> would definitelyyyy not look at Grimolf once more, keeping her mind and eyes forward like he wasn’t even there. A joyful grin would appear on her maw for Rune as she picked up her head to join in the chorus of congratulations for the new position. Wow! To be lead of anything must be an amazing feeling, and she was happy that Rune got to experience that tonight. Her tail continued to beat at a comfortable pace when Kova asked her to remain at the stone, definitely curious on why.
<Kova> As Rune remained at the stone, she would slowly turn to descend it as she had done in a previous meeting. The howls and calls of joy for Rune would be heard and her heart would swell a little more. When she reached the base of the stone she strode up to Rune and gave her a swift, but knowing nuzzle. “Rune, I would like to also ask at this meeting, an honorable request.” her tail gave a single sway then stilled. “I have known you for many moons. Since I’ve known you, there’s always been an unspoken connection with one another. A bond. I would love if the honor could be mine, if you would accept my Spirit Bond request to be my sister.”
<Rook> Rook hadn’t lost sight of those things that truly mattered. This wasn’t a grudge toward the brute, this was a way to ensure that those who might egg him on were accounted for and held accountable. When those that would consciously pay the brute no mind did so, then he gave Grim a sidelong glance. Had Grim been given the proclivity to speak over assessing the silent language? Rook’s posture was like a wall, silent, broad, and conveniently stone colored, but it was not one taken to obstruct or to guard another. It was very much in guarding of Grim, and whether the brute knew that or not was not the right question to ask…was their peace and decorum? Yes…good.
<Rowan> She would come into the clearing shortly after Ophaelos, and the unknown wolf, would she see her mentor? Probably not as it didn’t seem the Lead Huntress was gathered. She hummed softly, stopping near the back. She glanced around, noticing Sanek, she would pad over and settle near him if there was space.
<Rune> ⊰✲ Rune’s gaze would be knowing as well, returning the gentle nuzzle to Kova’s ruff. “We have come a long way since I first growled at you following my arrival.” Her tail wags and a wolven grin blooms across her face. “To become your Spirit Sister, forming that bond, seems a welcome title to speak to our journey together. I gratefully accept your request.” Her posture was soft but proud, happy and content for herself as well as Kova. ✲⊱
<Kova> Her tail would usher several waves before stilling. The lightness in her hues would remain and when she would give her response, she dipped her head in a soft, but gentle bow and stood a few steps closer, pressing her chest to hers. “Though we are not bound by blood, we are bound by spirit. Forever unto my last breath, we will forever be bonded Sisters by spirit. Now, unto my last breath, you will have a part of my heart as my sister.” She’d take a few steps back, gently stomp her paw in the snow before rising her muzzle skyward, howling for their spirits now bonded by what blood couldn’t break.
<Fianna> would feel her heart tighten and swell as Rune and Kova, her own spirit sister made and forged new bonds of Kin. Her tail would sway, and her eyes swept to Saskia briefly then back again as the bond was stamped with a howl, one Fianna would chorus to, keeping her voice softer for their own to be heard more, happy for the both of them.
<Leora> the light fae would watch the proceedings and when Caretaker of Masters was announced for Rune, the pair remained. She perked her ears and listened intently to the next proceedings. Spirit sisters? Oh, that sounded like a fun thing! She’d have to ask about that later to. How where those made? Questions abound and aside, the yearling would swing her tail and when howls where given, so would she! AWaoooooo!
⊰✲ Rune lifts her head to howl with Kova, her spirit sister. The ivory and russet fae’s protracted alto tones rising into the sky above, the clouds painted by the beginning of sunset. Their bond honored a great history, one she looked forward to telling stories of. When the chorus of the pack ends, she noses Kova softly. “Thank you, sister.” Her voice was quiet, sharing the words briefly before vacating the space at the center of the gathered group. She was certain she couldn’t be the only wolf of attention at this evening’s meeting. Hopefully they would have their turn now. ✲⊱
<CwnAnnwn> It seemed this was a very special meeting for his mate, he smiled at the thought. He was so very happy for her, for her advancement to Lead Caretaker and now to be named as Kova’s spirit sister. He was also happy for Kova, knowing that this meant a lot to her as well. With the naming of the pair as spirit sisters, he would stamp his paw and add his voice in celebration for the pair.
<Grimolf> ( What did I do this time ? ) Grimolf said to himself staring at Rook with his best attempt at a neutral expression. The scarred brute felt like he was being put under guard, and he couldn’t blame Rook for doing it. He had a terrible temper, and last meeting would probably still be fresh in everyone’s minds. That neutral expression would drop just slightly before he returned his attention back onto Kova. To be honest, he was so consumed by his thoughts, Grimolf hadn’t been paying much attention probably better start listening.
<Kova> She would dip her head and smile to Rune as she would then retake her place as Lead Caretaker and her sister. Turning on lithe paws, she would slowly make her way back to the stone and leap up to it with little effort. She’d walk back to the edge of the stone, before turning and looking to the wolves present. Seeing Fianna among the gathered, she would chuff for her. “Fianna, please come forward”
<Sanek> his tail thumped happily on the ground for Kova and Rune. He had felt pretty jittery about it earlier but was now feeling more confident in becoming part of such a bond. When Rowan sat beside him he offered her a dip of his head in acknowledgement of her presence. With Maikoh coming into the Clearing, he would probably sense the brute’s scent and perhaps recognize it as the scent he had found in the forest if he indeed was the same wolf he tried to track.
<Saskia> would catch Fianna’s glance and would be returned with a subtle grin and a twinkle in her hues. She’d lift her muzzle into the air in celebration to the newly appointed bond made between Kova and Rune. She didn’t expect this, but knew her presence had only been with the pack briefly and there were trials of lore and history behind every door. She’d feel the wind beside her brush against her pelt and would turn and glance at the white brute. She quietly dipped her crown towards the male and lifted a paw in celebration. It was pure excitement and gathered love. Her gaze would sweep all present, no doubt finding Rook and Grimolf in the crowd. She turned back to the meeting at hand.  When Fianna approached, she would wave her tail. What is Fianna being called for? Was it something to do with her being with-pup? Probably not!
<Mystic Rain>wanders into the forest and hesitatingly makes her way first toward into the clearing. With all the strong wolf scents she slow comes closer and closer until she can see individual wolves. Insecure she watches from the little distance in a way she wants to join but after yesterday who’d want Her. And aren’t such gatherings for those pack and about to be? She isn’t entirely sure and thus hesitates to approach
<Fern> would just spot out of the corner of her eye, Ophaelos? Oh yes he is here! She was afraid he would miss the meeting! But who was he with? She would have comfortably gone over to sit next to him but the sense of a newcomer seemed to scare her away just a little bit. Her tail would sway for the loving bond of the now spirit sisters, giving a stop of her paw and little congratulation “Yips”
<Rook>Rook’s side-long glance only lasted a moment before his attention went to the bonding of his court and her new spirit sister, Rune. Their history and places within the pack’s story were not lost to him, but he had to admit that he was pleasantly surprised by the bond they would announce here. With yet another firm stamp to the ground beneath him, he would congratulate them both. Fianna was called next, and although he had witnessed several things along the journey west, he did not wager on what was to be spoken of next.
<Rune> ⊰✲ A careful eye trained by many years and many springs looks over Fianna, copper and amber eyes narrowing with curious scrutiny. The more she looks over the Guardian at the base of the Alpha Rock, the more Rune feels certain in her assessment, call it years of expertise. This prompts a sinking feeling of dread to cloak Rune, clawing at her insides and pulling her ears outwards. She had settled next to her mate, CwnAnnwn, and she looks to the brute with worry, a silent image of concern painted across her face. Oh, their timing was not what she had hoped it to be. ✲⊱
<Fianna> When the celebration over the spirit bond had faded away, Fianna perked to hearing her own name called, rising almost instinctively. Padding quietly forward, perhaps oblivious to Rune’s expert eye along her frame she would park herself by the stone and look to Kova with a respectful dip of her own head, listening in question. “Yes, alphess?”
<Panther> Lead Caretaker and Spirit sisters with Kova? Rune seemed quite the popular wolf tonight! He offers his voice on again, and stomps his paw. Then, he’d look around. Rook was sitting beside Grimolf, Ophaelos had come in with an unknown wolf- wait, unknown wolf? His eyes narrowed, a darker coated wolf by the looks, he’d aim to greet him at the end of the meeting. His gaze settled on Kova once more, unaware that Rowan had also entered the clearing. He’d watch as Fianna was called up to the stone.

<Kova> a lightness and knowing would befall her expression when she approached. She’d clear her throat enough to project it to the others now present.

“Fianna, you have been Guardian of WolfSpirits for many moons now. Your prowess, guard, and strength knows no bounds and the desire and will to see our home safe and secure is ever present within you. Burning and pure. You have mentored and continue to do so to each wolf you meet, and have mentored another in the way of guardianship.” she’d pause for only a moment before she’d continue.

“I would like to ask you now, if you would accept and honor me and WolfSpirits, as taking the role as Lead Guardian to WolfSpirits? To continue to foster, care, and protect our home but as well lead and guide those under you?”

<CwnAnnwn> He watched as Fianna approached the alpha rock before turning to his mate as she settled beside him. He tenderly ran his muzzle along hers and into her scruff and spoke just loud enough for her to hear. “Congrats my Heart, your advancement to Lead Caretaker was well deserved and I am happy to see you and Kova named spirit sisters.” He perked to the alpha fae and Fianna as Kova spoke of the role of Lead Guardian.

<Saskia> Saskia let in an inward gasp. Lead Guardian! Saskia’s tassel thumped gently behind her as Kova asked the betrothal of such rank. It was fitting for Fianna, whom had given so much to guard their home. She had the same mindset as Panther, the meeting of the newcomer would come after the meeting, but her guard would be up and her peripheral set on the male. In her mind, the newcomer would be seen as a distraction from all those who found the spotlight of the evening. She would try to look past it, but sent Ophaelos a questioning look. Who is this..? not waiting for an answer, she’d return her attention to the Guardian at hand.

    <Fianna>

Fianna’s eyes would widen, and her heart would fill to the both the knowlege that her work thus far had been deemed well done, and that her Alphess would desire to allow her to shoulder the responsibility of the lead rank. She felt momentarily overwhelmed, and yet eager and ready to step into a role to which she had felt herself mold to over time and with many trials.
Bowing her head to Kova she would let sway her tail, unable to betray her feeling. “I am the one honored by such a request, and I accept the role with a full heart, and fervor for the role to which you grant me. I will do all i can, through body and spirit, to ensure the safety of those I call pack and kin.” Her words would ring with the fire in her spirit she held and would always hold for the guardian’s call. A call and song that she held within her.

    <Ophaelos>

.ೃ࿐ Ophaelos was a little late to the meeting, and thus he’d be slightly behind on the news. Lead Guardian was obvious, considering how well Fianna conducted herself, and perhaps he would have caught the tail-end of Kova and Rune being named each other’s spirit sister. So many spirit siblings lately… he’d have to ask about their meaning, next time he has time with his mentor.
Speaking of his mentor, he’d catch her possible greeting, and perhaps even Fern’s if he were looking in their direction. He’d try his best to smile at them. When Saskia would give him a look, he’d shake his head subtly and there may be an evident expression on his face that likely reads… vexed, and possibly a little exasperated. A sort of… ‘I’ll tell you later,’ look in his eyes, as he refocused his attention back on the Alpha stone. He’d hoped Maikoh was paying attention. *ೃ༄
<Mystic Rain> seeing lots of New or almost unknown wolves she can’t tell the difference. When fianna moves forward though her curiosity becomes too much and closes hesitatesly to within earshot just in time to her the promotion and her banner starts swaying as she real happy for the new lead guardian, surely the older deserves such a position.

<Kova> to her sisters heartfelt words, she would dip her head and bow it with an admiration for her. She would then address the rest of the pack and smile.

“As all have heard witness to Fianna’s pledge to the pack as Guardian, I am honored to name you Lead Guardian of WolfSpirits, Fianna.”

When she was named, she would lift her muzzle and allow her soft , sweet harmonic tone to reach the skies above in a howl for Fianna and her Lead role!

<Saskia> Saskia shrugged at Ophaelos’s look and would return to Fianna’s words. They were true if anything was. She’d stamp her paw and lift her muzzle into the sky for her mentor, dear friend, and much more, releasing a soft, low-toned song into the sky for her. awoooooo…

<Ragaire> ✩☾ She had stamped and howled for the tree-wolf, it was only polite to do so. When her momma got called up however, Ragaire’s attention would be piqued. Hmm, what was her momma doing up there? Lead Guardian? What was that? She didn’t know her momma had such a fancy title. Ragaire was picturing it now, ‘Ragaire, of Starfall and Earth, Lead Guardian to the WolfSpirits Pack.’ Mmmm, yes… the yearling quite liked the sound of that… She was now determined to get as many words after her name as possible. The ebony fae lifts her voice to howl with the pack, congratulating Fianna, even if Ragaire didn’t particularly like her right now. ☽✩

<Rune> Rune had become Spirit siblings with Kova? What did that mean? She wondered. A subtle smile appeared on her maw, she dipped her head to Sanek, to. Though, her gaze snapped back to Kova as she announced Fianna was to be Lead Guardian. Guardian.. that was a valuable rank within a pack. She would have to seek her mentor and gain more information about WolfSpirits, and their ranks – though, she guessed most were self explainitory. She’d offer her own howl, allowing her voice to be heard alongside the pack.

<Rikiwulf> Rikki would let out a small howl of her own in congratulations, tail swaying happily behind her. She was happy for Fianna, such a wonderful rank indeed. She had authoritar now. Yes, how great that was, she was hoping she would see Fianna fighting some coyotes at some point.

<Rook> Rook, harbinger of old, bringer of fate, and stealer of joy…the great gray raven pecking on carcasses long devoid of meat had perched himself near grumpy Grim like a horrid creature that stood watch above the threads Grim walked upon. Rook would not break that old façade of his, turning his gaze just enough to speak quietly (not softly) to Grim in tones of distilled truth like an omen come from the hells that spawned him. “A moment, fast approaching, will be given you to make a choice. You’ll either take the path granted you be speaking up and putting yourself forward, or you will not. I’m not here to encourage you; I’m here to see what I shall tell when I tell the tale of Grimolf.”

Rook then would raise his muzzle and howl, having had one ear on the proceedings and his sister’s advancement…but when he lowered his head in silence, one gold and one amber hue looked a moment longer to Grim before they turned with his head to see what else the night would bring.
<Ophaelos> .ೃ࿐ Luckily, Ophaelos would have been around for such an exciting title and event. Indeed, what true words, and what a title to bare. He’d lift his head and offer his voice to the sky, singing his song in ‘grats to Fianna! *ೃ༄
<Fianna> would feel the tide of song rush over her and would let her own voice join them, not to congratulate herself, but because it was these moments that tied them all together, and she would miss such an opportunity. When the howl was settled, she would look to Kova and ask softly, “Might i have a brief word?”
<Kova> She would look to her sister and when she would offer a brief request for a word, she smiled and gave her a nod. “Please” she would invite her to speak what she wished.
<Sanek> he had always known Rune and Fianna as having been their Caretaker and Guardian roles since he had joined the pack and he had always looked up to them so seeing them shift ranks felt perfectly natural like they were meant for their new roles. He offered a howl for Fianna’s advancement.

<Fianna> would not wish to derail the meeting, but perhaps it was in keeping with proceedings and she would turn to face the group, her chest swelling in tightness and joy at her news to share, and she would first find Calder with her eyes and rest them upon him as she spoke. “It is my great and humble pleasure to first share with you all, that Calder and I will be expecting pups soon.. when spring blooms, hopefully there will be the yip and call of pups to greet it.” Her heart swelled and she would look to Ragaire then, her eyes hoping the fae would greet the news as she intended, with anticipation and joy to new siblings, not to replace the old, but fill hearts ever more.

After a brief pause to allow her joyful news to settle into minds, she would look to Saskia and chuff to the fae. “Saskia, I have a question for you, much akin as Kova had or Rune.” She would allow the fae time to come forth.

<Calder>he would offer a low but gentle murmur from his tones and a sway of his tail to Fianna’s advancement and to her announcement. He would continue to look to her with confidence and to share such. He bowed his head warmly and smiled. He would then turn to Saskia and Fianna. Curious and intent eyes following. Perhaps he could feel the prickly tension of even a look given to GrimWolf and Rook nearby, but he remained focused now on the pair.

<Saskia> Saskia would smile as Fianna wished to share yet another word with the pack. When she announced the joyful surprise of pups, Saskia would wag her tail and pin her ears contently as if this was her first knowledge of such. Then, a dread would gnaw at the pit of her belly. Her tail came to a slower wag, but when Fianna caught her attention, she would push it downward and quickly ascend the rock to her side, nosing Kova in the process! She had an idea of what Fianna was going to instill but wasn’t completely sure. She’d look to both fae with a light expression. “Yes?”
<Leora> oh she could burst with JOY. Her sister would be named Lead Guardian, wow! That was so amazing! She wanted something neat with her name to, but her name was getting long. That’s ok. She liked a long name! She had her own inner thoughts and goals now, and her own insights into what she might seek. She wanted to talk to Rune later, but later it would wait.
When her sister was named Lead Guardian, she would’ve howled for her, but when Fianna mentioned that she was going to have pups, well, let’s just say her reaction was @o@. She’s going to be an AUNTIE?! Oh… surely if she wasn’t grounded by gravity, she’d be doing laps over the moon. Would she hear the later words?
<Rune> ⊰✲ A war raged inside of her, joy at the image of pups frolicking in the Clearing this spring and dread at the thought of being unable to help. Fianna’s words confirmed Rune’s suspicions, shared within the warm embrace of the pack. Rune, however, would not be inclined to share her own news, the knowledge buried inside of her like a secret. She doubted her fear was misguided, not wanting to alert unfriendly, strange eyes to their most vulnerable and precious life. Her tongue passes over her nose anxiously, watching now as Fianna turned her attention to Saskia. ✲⊱
<Panther> He would’ve offered his voice to Fianna’s advancement, them give a stomp of his paw. He looked over to his mate at the announcement of pups, he’d nose her shoulder, smiling softly. Then, she was called up by Fianna, he hummed softly, looking up towards the stone at the two.
<GrimWolf> stared blankly at Rook taken aback from his strange words. Why did everyone from that pack had to speak in riddles or rhymes ? Surely by now, Rook must’ve noticed that Grimolf didn’t do well with this type of speaking. ‘ Uh huh. ‘ Narrowing his orbs, he turned back to listen to everyone howling not joining in due to fact, he didn’t feel like he had earned the right to howl with them.
<Fern> Few- There were so many great things being announced tonight that Fern didn’t know if she would have a voice by the end of it! Her ears surely perked to the sound of pups, finally softening her gaze on Fianna.. Wow- Saskia? Before she had the time to even ponder the idea she heard the dark fae’s name be called. What was she going up there for..? Ohhh! Soon Fern released and it only made her tail sway faster with an expression of pure joy across her face.
<Fianna> When Saskia stood beside her she would reach to nuzzle the fae fondly, her tail unable to remain still for tonight was a night of much overflow from within. “Saskia, through your time here among us, first as pledge, then moving up the ranks until I became your mentor, you have slowly and surely found my heart. You have bound it to your own as well and truly as I feel a bond to my kin and my other son’s and daughters. With Kova’s blessing already given, I would ask before the pack if you would do me the utmost honor of being named the daughter of my spirit.” Fianna had already received an answer in the quiet moments they had shared, and yet, she would wait with baited breath nonetheless.
<CwnAnnwn> The silver male would offer his voice in celebration of Fianna’s advancement before he glanced towards his mate when she didn’t react, he realized something must be bothering her and would have to talk to her after the meeting to be sure that she was all right, wasn’t common for her to ignore him. Fianna’s own announcement of Calder and her’s expecting of pups gave him some idea of what might be bothering his mate. He perked as Fianna called up Saskia and spoke of being her spirit daughter.
<Ragaire> ✩☾ Ragaire’s face screws up in a grimace as her momma shares the news of new pups to the whole entirety of the pack. Ick. It was as if a bad dream had become a reality, words spoken into truth. Her muzzle was wrinkled, but her disdain would likely be hidden from eyes not keenly trained on her. The fae was off to the back of the group and seated alone, extremities kept close to herself. When her momma calls Saskia forward, she tilts her head to listen, unsure of what foolery was going on. At her momma’s next words, Ragaire’s ears flatten squarely against her head. Spirit Daughter? Her momma and puppa were replacing Navariin with new pups. Now she was being replaced too? The Pledge rises to her paws and turns around, creeping quietly away from the meeting, making as little sound as she could. Her body low to the ground, she slinks gingerly to the treeline and vanishes into it. Once hidden from view of the Clearing she bolts north, streaming towards the Ancient Forest. If wovles could cry, she would have. ☽✩

    <Rook>

Prickly? I dare say not, and lest any other judge the words offered out of anything near animosity, let there be an understanding that it takes investment and sentiment for anger and hatred to kindle. This fire was without oxygen.
As to the dichotomy of a talking Grim and a nontalking Grim; either one was an egg or one was a chicken…Grim couldn’t have it both ways like a chic stuck in a purgatory of pecking its way to freedom. The long skinny? Grim spoke to him first. Grim questioned him first. Grim needed spoken word and so the great gray carcass feeding raven spoke and spoke so plainly that there would be no disguising the moment when it came. What was it about truth that folks just didn’t get? No one in their right mind liked what hell spoke to them, but truth was truth, and Rook would didn’t think Grim stupid or in need of the cliff notes. There’d be a moment, and he’d either take it or he wouldn’t.
<Sanek> he barely held in a yip of excitement at the mention of more pups. It was always great having newborns with their youthfulness bring life back into the pack. He continued to watch with curiosity as it seemed there would be yet another bond formed this evening, this time between Saskia and Fianna. This was quite an eventful meeting!

<Saskia>if she could’ve blushed, she would have. Fianna had also found a special place in her heart and filled it with guidance, trust, and courage. “I have been traveled great lengths alongside you, Fianna. Each and every paw step forward, you have guided me and instilled a much needed strength within. You have reminded me of my own mother at times, and that has stuck with me for many moons. I will gladly take the honor of sealing our bond with my word, and with that I would be truly grateful to become your spirit daughter.”

There was much more she wanted to say but surely not enough time upon the stone to spare. She would nuzzle Fianna fondly and remain there for a moment, the comfort and warmth of a mother was there, indeed. She’d await any response.
<Rowan> Pups? She thought, she would be sure to aid in guarding the territory then. She glanced towards Sanek, hearing his yip, she allowed a grin of amusement to spread across her maw. She held back her chuckle at his excitement, her tail swayed as she looked up towards Saskia and Fianna, was it? Saskia seemed to be becoming Fianna’s Spirit daughter. Her grin fell into a small, content smile as she was surrounded by pack and watching the forming of bonds and advancements.
<Fianna> With her own words said, her news given and a new daughter bestowed, Fianna would feel her heart full, even as her gaze caught sight of her blood daughter looking crestfallen and angry, bolting toward the dark sentinal of trees beyond. Her heart shattered and was mended over .. and over. For now, she would steel that part of her that wanted to crumble at not being able to heal the hurts of Ragaire’s heart for her, and focused instead on the joy of Saskia’s agreement to their bond. She would give a heartfelt stamp of her paw, and a howl a short but heartfelt song of thanks. Brief as she would keep it, she would then look to Kova , pausing to dip her head in thanks to the Alphess for allowing her the time within the meeting shoulder to shoulder with Saskia.
<Fern> Daughter of the who’d what? Fern’s head would tilt with confusion at Fianna’s first words. That was a new one! Definitely not what she expected at all either. But nevertheless she would add her own yips into the mixture!
<Kova> She would look to Fianna and to the announcement, she swung her tail and an admiration in her hues would be found. To the later inquiry, she would look to Saskia and when the fae would approach, she would hold her strength true and happiness for the pair. She would look to Saskia now and to hear the fae’s return tone and acceptance. When they shared their hearts sentiments, she gave a soft swing of her tail before she’d gently press her paw to stone. “As all have lay witness to the creed between Fianna and Saskia, I would like the honor to name you Spirit Daughter to Fianna, Saskia…. and Fianna, Spirit Mother to Saskia.” to that she would offer a sweet howl for the pair. When her tones would echo and reverberate across the sky, she’d make note of each wolf there, and now perhaps not. For now, she would look to the pair and continue. “Saskia, please remain here a moment more.” she would invite the fae closer and turn to look to Fianna then to Saskia. “You have been named Guardian in training sometime ago. You’ve traveled great distances, and you’ve learned the way of our pack in more detail and intricate meaning. I would ask your mentor, Fianna, now to speak on your behalf and advancement to full Guardian of WolfSpirits.”
<GrimWolf> Perhaps, he wasn’t ready for this truth. Grimolf understood the meaning behind his words; but outright avoided them, he wasn’t ready to walk this path. Conflicted two sides of the brute constantly wrestled for control never letting him progress any further ! It was plain uncertainty not knowing what said moment would bring him, and he grew to expect the worse with everything Grimolf experienced during his life. Of course, Rook wouldn’t understand this if he could just step into the brute’s mind, but he couldn’t do that. Grimolf’s facial expression harden hoping Rook wouldn’t press this any further .
<Mystic Rain> tilts her a bit at that announcement, that’s an option too? O well at the others howls shee stomps with first one paw then the other to show instead of sound her approval. As soon as she sees where fianna is going she starts easing her way towards her, without disruptive ofcourse. If she can she just wants to be near fianna.
<Ophaelos> .ೃ࿐ At their union, Ophaelos would have offered his own song of approval once Fianna had lent her voice first. As Kova got out her later words, the brute would smile. Did he call it, or what? He should have placed a bet… with who, or what, is a different question though… he looks toward his mentor with a curious gaze. *ೃ༄
<Leora> she could just burst out of her skin. She would kneed the earth, pat pat pat EEeeeee! She would howl swiftly, quickly and happily for her sister’s bond to Saskia and the announcement to! When Kova would announce more was to come, she would snap her jaws and listen with intent, big eyes. Did she notice Ragiare run off??

<Fianna> First, she had spoken to Saskia as a mother, as a friend full of heart. Now, her demeanor would shift and grow more serious in nature, to Kova’s words she would draw herself up, now in the role of Lead Guardian to speak.

“Saskia has grown, having a nature that see’s much light in all those around her, she has grown into the heart needed to protect that very light she sees. She is strong of heart, and through trial of water and earth, through fang and claw she has proven her mettle and her heart aflame. I fully support her taking on the mantle of full Guardian now, and the responsibility that comes with it.” She would pause, looking to Kova, then to Saskia, “If she accepts this mantle, I will speak the call of the Guardian, to light the flame.”
<Sanek> he had certainly never witnessed the naming of this bond between Saskia and Fianna, though it made sense especially with those two. Now that Saskia was being considered for the role of Guardian he thought of how he was scout and Panther was hunter and now that Saskia would be a guardian they could form a sort of trio each with a different role and couldn’t help but grin. Perhaps..

<Rook> The whole world was a field of small fiddles played by a thousand littler Nero’s while a million Rome’s burned. His own little fiddle was sitting there with worn strings and one too many nicks on the wood to be of any use now…What Rook had lived and would likely understand was a matter of knowledge gained by those who had lived alongside him; he didn’t need to wax on any further.

The sharpest of the points to get to was whether Grim had it in him to find out those things by living beside him and beside others of the pack, or would this little fiddler think himself alone in an ashen field of a million little Romes? The great gray raven looked on to the proceedings, stamping his paw to the sounding of a bond between Fianna and Saskia and to the sounding of a guardian made new but knew the moment spoken of was soon arriving; the raven needn’t push it only needed to see the moment…never more

<Saskia> would forever be humble to such words, but in her heart she knew them to be true. The last year had challenged her, more specifically the last few moons. She’d given her heart, strength, and physical being to her family. She knew in her heart that she was ready to become a protector to their home.

“It takes many trails and tribulations to recognize one’s strength and ability in it’s fullness. Like I said before, you have carried me to each and every point of test there has been.-” Her hues would find the stone brute in the audience. And to him, she’d tip her invisible hat. “Rook had been a steady stone in my journey since I first arrived, and to him I thank. He has brought forth self-trust and confidence to me and my heart.” And that’s all there was to it. Fianna knew her place in the fold just as Rook had, but she hadn’t outwardly praised the brute for his part in it.
She turned back to Fianna and Kova. “If you will grant me such a title, I will be Guardian of WolfSpirits, I will protect our young, sick, old, and healthy for whatever comes in our direction.” She’d give a firm nod and hun in thought.
<Kova> To Saskia’s words and Fianna’s blessing she gave a sure nod of her head. She knew and trusted their Lead Guardians words for the one who desired to step on the path of Guardian. When Saskia gave her agreement and acceptance, she turned to Fianna, giving a dip of her head to invite her to ignite the flame. The acknowledgment to her court would be given a glance in his direction seated near Grim.

<Fianna>Her heart would listen to Saskia’s words, as much as her ears had for they were steady and true. With a fervor in her voice, she would lift herself at Kova’s permission to proceed and she would let her voice take on a cadence of something almost akin to song, a rythm she felt in her own heart and would now put voice to for Saskia to hold to as well.

    “Restless heart, paws to earth.
    Let sense of duty rise
The Guardian’s Call , a soul on fire,
    Never fades, Never dies.
    A sleepless ember waits,
    It watches all, it sees.
    It guards most often silently,
    But when comes time,
    It bleeds.
    No more a restless heart,
Born to purpose sure and steady.
    Paws to earth, heart aflame,
    The Guardian watches,
    Ready.
    When danger springs,
Harrowing, and with its jaws it bites,
It is met with a soul of fire,
    Unflinching, paws to earth,
    It fights.
    Scars born true,
Heart of courage and duty sighted,
A steady heart, paws to earth,
    The Guardian’s Call,
    Ignited.”
With that she would press her nose to Saskia’s shoulder, and fall silent.
<Saskia> The Guardian’s call, Ignited.. A physical feel of warmth and accomplishment filled her heart and she would beam. Like her mother, and her grandmother, she was now a proper Guardian of her home. She knew her mother would be proud, and now her Spirit mother could be proud. She lingered in her nosing and would step back, accepting her role with a stern and strong gaze! She was honored. Her gaze found Kova, now.
<Kova> The song of the Guardians creed would be sung true. A spark and inspiration would burn in her eyes and in her heart. She would stomp her paw firmly upon the stone and there, she would let loose a knowing breath. “Then it is my honor to name you, Saskia, Guardian of WolfSpirits. Your flame ignited.” and with that she would pull her muzzle back and howl for the song of another named Guardian to WolfSpirits. Her heart full and joyful.
<GrimWolf> felt truly alone even if the brute felt like he was surrounded by everyone in the pack. He really did want to embrace this moment, and learn to live again from the pack, but something deep down inside held him back. It was true, Grimolf had left to tackle the worse parts of himself, but some aspects of the brute needed to be forced out by wolves like Rook. All of these thoughts would be thrown off by Fianna’s gentle song completely distracting Grimolf from himself. ( He never expected someone, so / fierce / to also have a calming voice. )
<Rune> ⊰✲ Rune had noticed Ragaire spin around and slink off, wondering what creature the fae was off to chase. Regardless, she howls and stomps to congratulate Saskia and Fianna. Their bond was admirable, and she was sure of Kova and Fianna’s judgement in moving Saskia among the ranks of the Guardians. ✲⊱
<Panther> His tail swayed, his first thoughts to Saskia being named Spirit daughter to Fianna, would be Rikki. What if Sirris never returned, or Rikki’s uncle? Rikki wouldn’t have anyone to look after her, kin wise. Though, his thoughts would take time and discussion. He stomped a paw for his mate, as Fianna spoke up again, it seemed like the hunters, the Guardians had a creed to go by as well. He allowed his voice to be heard as Kova lifted her muzzle.
<Ragaire>✩☾ The yearling could not decide whether to be angry or sad, so she decided she would be both. Her long, strong legs were carrying her quickly through the forest. She expertly navigates the Ancient Forest, the deep and shadowy dark her dearest home. The eerie feeling that often raised the guard hairs along a wolf’s spine would not plague her, she was a creature of Starfall and Earth. She was home. The ebony fae darts around trees and under great arching roots. She was heading for Navariin. ☽✩
<CwnAnnwn> He frowns before turning away from his mate and would add his voice in congratulations to Fianna and Saskia for their naming of spirit mother and daughter and for Saskia’s advancement to Guardian. As his voice drifted off, he glanced to Rune beside him before turning back to the Alpha fae as he awaited the next part of the meeting.
<Ophaelos> .ೃ࿐ Just as the others, Saskia’s union with not only her mentor but her rank, would be well earned. He’d tip his head back and howl, giving a stamp of his paw to follow it. This meeting was full of surprises, and many different events… he’d wondered if anyone else would be called upon the stone, or if they would leave it on that note. Would any wolves gathered around pledge, or would more wolves step up into their leadership positions? The mind boggles… would Maikoh be present, or did the wolf fall asleep or scamper off without him noticing? Neither seemed like good ideas to Ophaelos… nonetheless, his eyes remained fixated on Kova. *ೃ༄
<Calder> he would let loose a low and deep howl for his mate and Saskia, and then to Saskia as she advances to Guardian. The tone and creed would hold a special place for him, and to the words shared between the pair. He stomped his paws and turned his ears forward to the proceedings.
<Rikiwulf>Riki would happily let out her own howl of congratulations Saskia’s way, excited for the new Guardian. Rikki hoped she could be strong like Saskia someday, like her mama was for Rikki. The little wolf let out a yip of excitement and wagged her tail.
<Fianna> Would feel her heart swell for Saskia as the howls rose around them and she would join her voice to theirs to welcome the new Guardian of Wolfspirits, letting it linger for a moment, before bowing her head to Kova, nuzzling Saskia once more, and pausing briefly before she would finally move to take her place back among the others, this time finding her mate to settle by. She would spot tide as well and her tail would sway encouragingly to the fae even as she leaned in to nuzzle Calder.
<Kova> When the howls of congratulations where sundered to the skies, she knew that their ancestors where full of news this evening. She would scan once more across those in attendance before giving a swing of her tail and a chuff to Panther and Sanek. “Panther.. Sanek.. please come forward” she would usher in eager but happy tones.
<Mystic Rain> ears twitch slightly at the song and she stomps a couple of times with just the one paw her banner shifting a little behind her at the same time
<Rowan> Her ears perked, tail curled around her flank, and her voice offered to the winds. Saskia was a Guardian! A full Guardian! She knew the fae could do it. She stomped her paw, looking back over towards Kova as Saskia and Fianna found there places back in the crowd, however, Sanek and Panther were called up which would make her pay extra attention.
<Fern> Fern would release her most joyous howl yet! Wow.. She had watched Saskia come into the role of guardian in training not too long ago but she knew that the fae definitely earned her position as a ranked wolf amongst the pack. “Congrats Saskiaa!” With a high waving tail she happily awaited what was to come next.
<Sanek> listened to Fianna’s poem intently, feeling the guardian spirit in its rhythm and rhyme. He howled with joy, celebrating Saskia’s advancement into full on Guardianship. When his howl ceased he heard his own name called. He glanced towards Panther and quietly made his way up along with the brute, feeling so many emotions at once.
<Saskia> Saskia rejoiced for her own ceremony, taking it in before moving downward towards the flank of her mate and dear friend, Fern. She nosed the fae on her cheek before turning back towards the meeting. She gave a warm smile to Fern’s congratulations, and she’d hum. “Thank you, Fern.” Would she notice Rowan? If she did she would linger a moment more before recognizing her, then her expression turned into a light one. She chuffed softly, inviting her over to their small group. When her mate and his close friend got called to the rock, she’d lift a paw in curiosity. What was this? Was it what Panther had spoken to her about?
<Panther> As Saskia found her place beside him, he’d nuzzle her in congrats. However, just as he got comfortable to the warmth beside him once more, he was called up to the rock. Unsure if it was what he spoke to Saskia about, he’d rise to his paws quickly, and approach the rock with a mix of nervousness, excitement, and happiness for the other wolves that had had a chance to approach the rock.
<Kova> Her eyes would be light and knowing to the pair and when the both of them approached the stone to settle, she would bow her head and look between the two. “Panther and Sanek. I bring you forward to the stone this evening, before the pack, to share a bond. One forged with time and with heart. I would ask you to please speak your request and let it be shared.”
<Rook> Energy swelled around the clearing like the breath of the wind itself, but this was not born of the uneven heating upon the Earth’s surface. Its serpentine movements around each wolf was not like a writhing of pain but a coalescing of joy, and as much as Rook enjoyed donning this raven’s mask, his namesake, he enjoyed the fulfillment of stories at a chapter’s end. So many wonderful endings to chapters were being told, and he’d listen to them all while keeping the preface of another’s story open.
<Fianna> would perk as Sanek and Panther were called up, her own heartbeat’s quickened rhythm from the recent proceedings calming some and she would settle further into Calder’s steady frame, both longing to follow after Ragaire and knowing she would remain firmly rooted here. What would the next announcement be? With Kova’s words, she would likely guess, waiting eagerly to hear what they might have to say.
<Sanek> * Sanek took a deep breath, looked once more to Panther, then let his gaze settle on all those gathered. “Panther and myself have shared a friendship since the very start, when we started our journey to becoming pack together. Since then our friendship has grown as we experienced these beautiful lands and all they had to bring together. When I was very young my brother had passed away, and I had closed off that part of my heart. But Panther has helped me open it up once more. So may it be known to the world: we will always stand, Panther and Sanek, shoulder to shoulder, hunter and scout, and I hope to see that now our interwoven paths will be continued as Brothers in Spirit.” his tail was wagging softly behind him as he spoke.

    <Leora>

she couldn’t hardly contain herself at Fianna’s news and then Saskia’s, but her hues would fall to Panther and Sanek now. She would swing her tail feverishly behind her for the two of them. Oh, Sanek! She’s missed him tooo! At the mention of them wanting to be named a spirit brother, she would tilt her head but curiously look on. What was this spirit bond? She kinda felt a little feelies for Panther and Sanek to. Just like another brother? She looked to Rook for a moment, then turned back to Panther and Sanek, listening with wide light eyes.
<Rune> Rune ⊰✲ The ivory and russet fae leans into @CwnAnnwn, pressing her shoulder against his. It was lovely to see the pack growing together, strengthening their connections. She was honored to have her own story so closely intertwined with that of the WolfSpirits and the others who walked with it. @Sanek and @Panther, the brutes two peas in a pod from the very start. Rune had not seen much of the Scout lately, the earth-toned wolf likely off on the Territory’s outskirts, patrolling as his rank’s duties saw fit. However, it wouldn’t mean his presence was any less missed. ✲⊱
<Panther> A nod was given to Sanek as the two exchanged a look, he looked first towards Kova then those gathered as he listened to Sanek’s words, once the brute was finished with his well put together and heartfelt thoughts, Panther opened his maw to allow his own, not as intricate words to be heard. “I grew up as an only pup to a large pack, I never felt any sort of connection with them – as far as siblings go. Once I arrived here, and started spending time around the pack and Sanek, I started to realize kin is not just blood, kin can be bond to. Which led me to realize my bond with Sanek is much like Fianna’s and Kova’s, or Kova’s and Rune’s. So, I ask that, we may continue our journey shoulder to shoulder- Hunter and Scout, Brothers by Spirit.” With his own words spoken, he’d look to Sanek, then Kova.
<Kova> As Sanek would share his heart, equal to Panthers as well, she could feel the tone of each bond be given and woven to one another, and as well for them to acknowledge and witness. She dipped her head to both and her eyes expressed the lightness she had for them and for their request. “As all have lay witness to Panther and Saneks bond shared between brothers, and between the pack, I would like to have the honor now, to name you Panther brother of Sanek, and Sanek, brother to Panther.” she would stomp her paw softly. “May your bond be ever truer now until your last breath. To share as brothers.” and with that she’d offer yet another sweet melody and howl for the pair. Proud and happy for them both. She knew how long they’ve been together since the beginning and she was so humbled to see their bond grow now.
<Saskia> A stamp of her paw was given to Panther’s words, and a nod to Sanek’s. She knew this meant much to her mate’s heart, as he’d gone great lengths to find ways to put his bond to seal. She listened to what else was said. When they were named brothers, she would wave her tail behind her, happy for the brute pair. Her mate finally got what he wanted.
<CwnAnnwn> He perked as her felt his mate lean into him, he turned to nose the fae tenderly. He still worried that something was bothering her, but for now would keep his attention to the meeting. With a loving lick to the fae, his heart, he turned back to Sanek, Panther and Kova as the two were named spirit brothers. He would lift his head and let out a howl of congratulations for them.
<Fianna> When Sanek and Panther both shared heartfelt words Fianna would listen, nodding to the sentiments offered and shared. She would join in Kova’s sweet howl with one of her own for bonds, like a great tree, linking and bonding lives. Her gaze would look around at all gathered, taking in each and every one, and happy to be here with them all.
<Calder> he would brush into Fianna lightly nosing her frame but would he pick up on the scent of blood from a wound? His eyes did a >.> narrow but of concern. But to the howl his attention drew and when the pair of wolves named brothers, he’d stomp his paw and let loose a gentle howl in kind for them to.
<Rikiwulf> Rikki wasn’t entirely sure what spirit bonding was, though she would join in on the howl of congratulations regardless. She held a respect for Panther, especially since her mother seemed to care so deeply for him. She would respect him too, to respect her mothers heart and soul.

    <Rook>

Rook would listen first to Sanek’s words toward forming a bond in spirit and then to Panther’s. Would he catch Leora’s glimpse toward him? He had a brother, Kokuro, already and three grimy, goobery sisters. That would do him, but he’d think no less of those bonds formed outside of blood. These were the anchor points between memory and of memory; such were potent events and bonds deserving of the hearty stamp he offered into the snowy ground beneath him.
He once more took stock of those around and looked to Grim to see just how the lad was fairing.

    <Ophaelos>

.ೃ࿐ One, two, three spirit bonds? Ophaelos was more intrigued than ever now. Sanek’s words would resonate with the brute, whose brows would furrow at the thought of his own brother he had lost. In truth, all of his siblings had entered into the spirit realm, but his brother was who he was closest to. For Ophaelos, he would feel empathy for the brute—despite not knowing him well—and found himself almost envious of Sanek, who was able to open his heart up to Panther in such a delicate way. Part of him was melancholic that he’d likely not be able to form a bond that strong with anyone here, at least not strong enough for anything official. He had wounds a bit too fresh for anything like that.
However, he’d put aside his own personal feelings and join in on the howls. How much more eventful was this meeting going to get? *ೃ༄
<Kova> As the howls from all the others would reach her and beyond, she would allow their voices to carry a little further as she took a breath of contentment and a brief glimpse to her court. She observed silently in those few moments before turning back to the rest. “I would like to now open the floor to any who wish to come forward with a request.”
<Sanek> at Kova making it official he nosed Panther’s scruff as howls went up around them. He looked up to the sky with a sad smile, missing his older brother. When he looked down at Panther once more he offered a stamp of a paw. Now he would know how it felt like to have a younger brother. This time he went back to the gathered wolves to seat
    * Sanek himself closer to Panther and gave a wag of his tail to the black brute’s court, Saskia, as he passed her. His heart was beating so hard with excitement it was practically trying to leap out.
<Rikiwulf> The little wolf would step up, her letting legs moving towards the alpha stone upon Kova’s final words. She wished to join the pack and do her mother proud, her breath would go erratic, nerves hitting her at every step that she took. She would move to stand in front of Kova, yellowish-grey eyes nervously staring up at the alphess. “I would like to join the pack please, miss alphess Kova.” The wolf spoke respectfully and gently, gentle gaze on the alphess.
<Rook> The gray raven perched upon the carcass and watched Grim a moment longer to see if recognition would spark in the lad’s eyes to the sounding of someone moving forward to join the fray and come in from the metaphoric cold. Rook would do nothing else in that moment.
<Rowan> Her tail swayed, she’d offer her howl after Kova and stomp a paw. Would she notice Saskia? Yes, but would she approach? Not until the meeting was over. However, when Sanek and Panther return to the group, Sanek seated closer to Panther. She didn’t blame him, especially now that they were bonded siblings. She sat, content, as she watched the meeting. A wolf, approached the rock, a wolf unknown to her, a visitor it seemed. She hummed softly, watching.
<Fianna> When the fae she had just met – Rikiwulf would move forward, hesitant but looking excited, Fianna would sit up a bit from where she leaned against Calder. The fae’s polite words struck her again. Someone had at least tried to raise the pup right. Fianna thought back to what she remembered of Sirris, but wouldn’t know her well enough, for how things ended. She was glad for the fae, and hoped a home would be found amongst them. Time would tell if the fae would linger long enough to make her heart a home here.
<Kova> She would remain a top the stone peering to the wolves present. When Sanek and Panther took their desired places to seat, she would wave her tail happily behind her then turned now towards the newest wolf step forward. When she did and offered her request. As the fae was already forward, she would dip her head to her. When Tide approached she would look to the fae. “Tide, do you also request the same as Riki?” the fae couldn’t speak, but she could at least wager as much.
<Panther> Panther, although he had a sibling, he grew up as an only pup. His paws shifted as his tail swayed, he nosed Sanek’s scruff as howls sounded around them. He looked to Sanek with a stamp of his paw, appreciative that the brute had agreed to the bond. He smiled, he would have to get used to having a brother, just like he got used to the feeling of having a mate. Returning to the crowd, he’d settle once again, beside Saskia. He’d watch as Rikki approached the rock, asking to join the pack and become a pledge. It seemed Tide wanted to as well, and so he’d watch with interest.
<Saskia> A warm smile would find Sanek as he passed her. She’d grown to find friendship in the way of proximity in bond with her mate. When Rikki asked to join the pack, she would tilt her head. It was early to ask such things. Had she spoken to Kova since she’d arrived? Saskia was in no way against such a connection being formed, but this early Saskia wasn’t sure about. She looked to her mate, questionably. What she did like, however, was the respect in her young voice. Saskia smiled, happy to see it. Would Tide try to speak of her desire to join the pack? For now, her gaze remained on Tide.
<Mystic Rain> sitting onto her hindpaws and lowering her front half just a little as well. Holding her breath she looks up at Kova hoping the Lead fae understands her intention. And when the question does come she out a breath she was unaware of holding in and attempts to nod respectfully even if there is a little hint of excitement there.
<Kova> She would gather as much from Tide and look to now the pair of them. She would wait a moment more, just to see if any others would step forward with the same request. When none approached, she’d continue. “You stand before the pack to pledge to join us. As a Pledge, you will learn and grow with the pack but most importantly, you will know the ways of our pack and the way of your heart. This is a time to ensure that this pack is your home and where you desire to belong and call home. Are in agreement to this and are willing to walk this path forward?”
<Sanek> he hadn’t met Rikki yet and the name Tide was unfamiliar to him.. though as he followed Kova’s gaze he found himself looking at the small wolf he had met earlier. She hadn’t spoken at all during their interaction but her motions conveyed a polite and friendly wolf. He hoped to get to know her and Rikki better after the meeting’s conclusion. For now he remained seated and listening.
<Rikiwulf> The white wolf listened closely to Kova’s words, her gentle eyes following along as excitement trailed through her. She couldn’t be more certain of her decision. She knew what she wanted. Her home was no more, both her parents were long gone. Her father she knew for certain, her mother.. not so much. Though she hoped in her heart that Sirris had made a safe journey to wherever she was right now. Rikki would look up at Kova, eyes glowing with excitement as she nodded her head and bowed in respect. “Of course, miss alphess Kova. I long so in my heart to join this pack, find a new home and form new bonds with wolves. I have nowhere else to go, I so seek to make this place my home. I pledge my heart to WolfSpirits and I pledge myself to you as packs alphess. I wish to walk this path forward and join this pack to call it my home.”Rikki would confirm, keeping her head bowed low, a soft wag of her tail as happiness flooded her heart.

    <Rook>

Rook would look to the new fae and to Tide; the latter he would look with great curiosity. He had not promised to find her a home here. He promised to find her home, but one might say the smithy of words had neglected to define which. That suited him…she owed him a story, and he come calling soon enough.
Above the tendrils and passages of memory from past to present, from present to future, the gray raven had seen all he’d need to see for the night. The cover of one book closed as he watched two other tales beginning their telling.
<mystic rain> tilts her listening intently at the alphesses words and when rikki speaks up she nods just a little in agreement before bouncing, briefly from one front paw to the other while other wise remaining seated and nods her own agreement to the question her banner moving just a little.
<Kova> A knowing nod would usher forward at the pair of faes, especially to the shared tones and words of their heart. The pair where new, Riki being the newest of them, but she looked forward to knowing their tales and especially Tide’s when she spoke if she did. “As the pack lay witness to Riki and Tide’s request, then I shall make it so. From this forward on, you may present yourselves as Pledges of WolfSpirits. May your journey be true, and your heart truer to it’s path with us.” she’d rise her paw and stomp the stone.
<Fianna> would hold herself quiet and intent as she listened to the two young fae’s began a new journey. Tide.. Fianna was a bit confused, happiness that the fae wanted to stay with them warring within her about *why*. Did she not hold out hope of returning home? Fianna would stomp her paw to Tide and Rikiwulfs new pledging and feel excited as she looked forward to seeing what and who they would become.
<Rune> ⊰✲ The evening was beginning to wind down, wolves settling into comfortable places with friendly company. Rune lifts her maw to howl for Rikiwulf and Tide, two faes who she had not yet met. Well, she’d have to be sure to find them in the coming days to congratulate them. ✲⊱
<Grimwolf> ‘ Thanks for the wise words, and wiser company, but I need to sleep on something night, Lore Master. ‘ Grimolf would stand up firing, a short glance towards Alpha rock before turning around to walk off into the woods. It wasn’t time for that moment, he needed to do a lot more before stepping up to those rocks to ask for the opportunity. Besides, everyone deserved to rest their orbs from the broody sight that was — Grimolf.
<CwnAnnwn> He had not yet met either of the faes that had requested to begin the journey to becoming pack, but when Kova named them as Pledges, he would stomp his paw for them. He leaned lightly against his mate as he waited to see if there would be any other announcements at this meeting or if that was the last.
<Kova> As the last of the evenings events would come to a fold, she would dip her head and wait for them to move back to their desired places. She to, was curious for both the wolves but more so to know of Tide’s story. Her hues would cast long to each wolf now before she would offer another note before closing the meeting. “I would cast a friendly reminder of those who have a mentor, to seek them out soon, so that knowledge can be shared and given from mentor to mentee for the next meeting.” she would bow her head and offer a wave of her tail. “A wonderfully strong night for bonds and celebrations. Congratulations to everyone, and thank you to all who heeded the call for tonights meeting.” her paw would softly stomp the stones surface before she would turn and make her way off the stones surface and land easily in the snow.

      Pack Meeting Begins

      * Kova as she waited for the wolves to gather just below the stone, she would shift her hues to each wolf who presented themselves and heeded the call. Her tail swung a few times behind her before she dipped her head and called to each. “Salutations, wolves of WolfSpirits.” her tones light and thoughtful. Feeling the stone beneath her pads, she would shift her weight before turning to look at ..
<Kova> .. the wolves present then, saw the prospects to whom she tasked a few things. It would be to each wolf she called forward. “Code and Saskia, please come forward.”
<Huginn> <Rook> c/Rook Story 📖 Short work of the distance between he and the stone had been made in the intervening moments, short enough at least to have been near enough to find a decent spot when the howl ventured forth. He would definitely be in time to see and hear two faes be called forward.
      * Sanek perked. A howl? A meeting? So it was today! His forepaws pushed back so that he was now sitting and looking up at the Alphess, with his ears pulled back respectfully. One ear turned at Panther’s chuff, then his head. He did a quiet chuff hoping Panther would hear. Then he would fall silent and turn back as Code and Saskia were called
      * Sanek forward.
      * Loumacy ears perked at the howl. Another one? Hadn’t they just had one? She looked about curiously but moved into the clearing. Perhaps she would see Calder and would bow her head politely, but keep her distance from him wanting to be respectful of the season. So far she was doing alright, though as she thought of the time her mind did wonder over to a particular brute who did not appear
      * Loumacy to be in the clearing. Lou shook her head and nosed Coneward. When Fianna appeared she thought perhaps it would be nice to sit with her mentor, and so she would approach the femme with a soft tail wag and a quiet chuff before her gaze would move to Code and then Saskia, she wagged her tail.
      * Lotus felt the dread in her heart drop to the bottom of her stomach. Her name wasn’t called. She hadn’t worked hard enough.. though she felt devastated inside, she managed to keep her calm and watch her friend walk up to the Rock with Code. She wagged her tail lightly. At least Saskia would become a pledge.
      * Saskia would hear her and Code’s name being called and would wag her tail but was cut short by an immediate jump to her feet, making her way up to the Alphess, too excited to notice Panther’s chuff.
      * Code slunk out of the treeline panting and into the clearing just in time as Kova started speaking, muttering an apology for being late before slipping beside Saskia and sitting down, her tail resting in front of her paws. She breathed a sigh of relief, trying to be discreet and not gather too much attention. She pricked her ears and looked up
      * Code at the alpha fae on the really big rock. As Kova said her and Saskia’s names, she widened her eyes. She wondered what this was for. Nonetheless, she kept a smile on her face and stepped forward with her friend, eyes still on the alpha as she wagged her tail.
      * Kova when the pair approached she would keep her eyes out for Lotus, but returned her hues then to the two fae’s for now as she’d start the meeting. She would dipped her head when they reached within distance of the stone and began “Saskia you where tasked in finding someone to mentor you before this meeting was called. I would like to ask you now, who were your mentors and what did you learn?”
      * Saskia would dip her head respectfully at Kova. “I sought out the great hunter, Panther. And in my ignorance, he taught me things I needed to know, but most importantly, he taught me respect. Respect for all the wolves that walk on this land. He also mentored me in the way to not be so headstrong. I have made amends with Rook, whom I was wrong to at the last meeting, as well as you, Alpha.” She lowered her head and
      * Saskia wagged her tail.
<Huginn> <CwnAnnwn> c/Cwn He turned his gaze back to the gathering as Code and Saskia were called up to the Alpha rock. He listened as Kova spoke to the pair, eyes glancing to the other fae a moment, wondering if she was going to be given a chance before turning back to the Alpha rock and the three faes.
      * Sanek worried that Kova had said something about speaking to him before the meeting. They hadn’t done that, but he hoped it would still work as part of the meeting. He was hiding this worry though, behind a genuine curiousity of what the two faes learned.
      * Panther He nodded as he gazed at Saskia, he smiled softly. He was still debating vouching for her, he was a member, but her mentor. He would be biased. He came and sat beside Sanek, nosing the brute. His gaze found his apprentice as she spoke his name. His gaze wandered among the other wolves, wondering where the newcomer was. He watched the wolf in front of the crowd of wolves. Was Saskia going to become a pledge today? Had he trained her enough? He continued to watch, listening rather intently.
      * Rook listened quietly and curiously to Saskia’s response, and if needed would vouch for the fae’s reaching out and to the amends made. He wondered why the other fae present therein had not, but life and its threads were made some fairly busy. Focus was given back to the fae and to Kova for her own response.
      * Kova would dip her head to the fae as she would reveal whom she sought. All the choices would be well suited and, she was glad she did. “We all have our personalities and ways in which we’ve grown into. That, I cannot fault a wolf to far for but it is the humbleness of being able to learn and to grow, and to flourish in yourself and as well, to the path that you desire to have moving forward.” admiration for the fae seemed to twinkle in her eye. Much to learn still, but the fae showed a great willingness to continue forward. “The next step, Saskia is pledge of WolfSpirits. I would ask you now, are you still willing to continue to grow, and to learn the ways of this pack? To a pack you desire to call home and family?”
      * Loumacy settled beside Fianna, letting her be the one between her and Calder. Her tail batted lighly back and forth and occasionally she would go to nose or seemingly nip at the confetti. She really wanted to hear what Kova was about to tell her two friends. In her excitement she nosed and nuzzled Fia before looking back to her friends, forelegs giving the snow a bit of a pit pat as she
      * Loumacy licked her maw and whined excitedly. Her ears began to go up and then flat, up, flat, up, flat, up, flat. She was charging up like an over exciteable electric rat monster.
      * Saskia would watch as Kova seemed to have a twinkle in her eyes. This made her melt. The Alphess had taken a liking to her.. oh she was so happy. “Yes, Kova. I dearly wish to still find a home in this land, with these wonderful wolves!” She turned to look out to them, she hoped she was also allowed to speak out to them as well, if not she would be corrected after the meeting by someone. “And I wish to let all the
      * Saskia wolves that sit in this clearing know, that I will provide loyalty and respect, compassion and service to all of you for as long as I reside here. Thank you all for being so welcoming and teaching me your ways..” she looked back at Kova, whispering “Thank you” as well to the Alphess. She then hushed her maw and waiting for her response.
<Calder> He would watch Loumacy as the fae approached. He dipped his head to her before offering a kind welcome, then his eyes fell to Saskia and then to Kova. Listening intently to the shared words.
      * Kova her tail still and the wind ruffled the smallest amount of fur fluff that it would. She was rigid, thoughtful and would give a kind but pensive expression. To her whisper, she would give a slight smile and a very short but curt nod in acknowledgment. “I would call to the members of WolfSpirits and to our Assessments. Who will vouch for Saskia’s pledgeship?”
      * Fianna, while watching the goings on, began to feel her fur prickle some with how near Loumacy was to Calder, and it was a good thing the fae hadn’t tried to squirrel her way between them. Scooching a mite closer she nuzzle Calder and licked his cheek fur, then turned to study Lou’s ears for a moment, the back and forth being quite distracting. Still she couldn’t fault the fae for being excited and so she lifted one paw and set it down firmly but gently on top of one of Lou’s hoping to ground the fae a bit and help her settle. When Kova asked who would vouch for Saskia, Fianna glanced about. She had only just barely met the fae and hadn’t had anymore opportunities to speak with her. Who had the fae been able to spend time with?
      * Salem followed along the stream going a little further North but ultimately West. Once he reached a point where the frozen water branched off in two separate directions, he followed the one where he didn’t have to cross either one and now his path would continue further South until the stream continued into the forest and he adopted following the forest edge for a number of paces before swinging a hard right as he walked in between the trees that separated the Hunting Grounds and the Clearing.
      * Loumacy burst like that bawoon she popped the other day, “ME! I will! Ooo! Ooo! Pledge- I mean Assesment of Wolfspirits, Loumacy vouch for Saskia buddy, pal, FRIEND!” Her paws went a tippy tappy and she whined, and she nosed Fianna, and oh this was so exciting! Tippy tappy! Tippy tappy! “She brings happiness and great interest in the pack, and takes to hear valuable lessons like pack together, I can attest!” Bounce! Bounce! Bounce!
      * Rook would wait his turn to speak for the fae, seeing as his place was nearer the proverbial back than the front. No amount of rigid decorum would keep Lou from vouching first though, and that would elicit a chuckle from him before he decided to go in turn. ”Rook, son of the Mean Oíche, vouches for Saskia. She speaks true and amends have been made.”
      * Kova would hear Loumacy’s excited tones first and gave an inward chuckle as well, nodding to her and then to Rook as he spoke for the fae, as well. She would rise her paw up, and gently tap it to the stone before giving a stern but thoughtful tone to her voice. “As those lay claim to Saskia’s pledge, so do I lay ground for it to be proven. Moving forward and here on out, Saskia you may ..
<Kova> .. introduce yourself as a pledge of WolfSpirits. Welcome to the first few steps of many. ” she said with a smile and dip of her head.
      * Sanek hadn’t been around Saskia enough to truly know the fae, so although he wanted to vouche for her, he wouldn’t know what he was vouching for so he stayed quiet and listened to the others. His tail waved happily when Kova approved that Saskia become a pledge.
<Calder> Upon the newly named Pledge he would smile and dip his head and place a paw on the earth in announcement of her presence now to them all. He would let loose a wave of his tail, feeling Fianna’s nuzzle and nuzzle her in turn. Perhaps oblivous to the tension set forth for now?
*Panther He would be biased, he kept telling himself that, but as he told himself that he heard Loumacy’s loud vocals. He looked over his shoulder at her, remaining where he was seated beside Sanek. He grumbled softly, and almost told her; ‘You don’t have to yell, Kova isn’t deaf.’ but alas, he actually kept his maw shut. His gaze darted towards Rook as he vouched for the fae, he smiled softly. His hues gleamed with respect, and the glint in his hues remained when he gazed up towards Kova. Saskia was a pledge now! His tail betrayed a subtle happy wag. He figured his apprentice-at-the-time would say something about why he didn’t vouch for her after the meeting. His ears perked, and he continued to listen.
      * Saskia would look to the two wolves that vouched for her and they wouldn’t be forgotten and of course she would thank them afterwards. She looked up at Kova who would set her paw down and announce her as pledge. She smiled and chuckled, with a man outrageous tail wag. “Thank you, Alpha Kova! I will not disappoint you.” She spoke in serious tone despite her bodily form. “Am I to leave the rock now?” She asked,
      * Saskia head dipped respectfully.
      * Lotus wagged her tail in excitement. Her friend was a pledge!
      * Kova as the celebratory feel would wash over them, she would smile and dip her head to Saskia allowing her to return to her place of desired seat within the rest she would then turn her hues to Sanek. She gave a soft expression and a chuff in his direction, calling him forward. “Sanek, please come forward.”
*CwnAnnwn Stamped a paw in the snow as Saskia was named the newest pledge of the WolfSpirits pack. He looked to Sanek was the male was called up next.
      * Lotus she stomped her paw, assuming that was the thing to do..
      * Code grinned and wagged her tail as Saskia was named pledge. As she listened, she remembered she too had to apologise to the brute she didn’t know the name of from the previous meeting, though any memories of the hostility had been long forgotten. She prided herself in never holding grudges, and honestly, any memory of that brief disagreement
      * Code had been lost to the sands of time from her point of view. She shrugged, looking over to the wolf who she may or may not know as Rook yet and gave an apologetic smile, though whether he noticed would be up to chance.
      * Saskia would pad down the steps, perhaps offering a smile and a chuff Sanek’s way as he took her spot. She would look to who to sit by. She saw Loumacy all excited and wound up, she smiled and chuckled, heading her way, but not before looking towards Rook’s direction and eyeing him a soft look of thanks, and dipping her head down his way respectfully. As she got to Loumacy, she wouldn’t say anything but give a nose
      * Saskia to her cheek and snuggle up close to her taking a seat, wondering what Sanek would be called for.
      * Sanek his tail stopped wagging for a moment and his ears pulled back even more when Kova called him up. He stood and did a quick few trots to stand in front of the Alpha Rock, dipping his head to the Alphess in respect.
      * Lotus her eyes drew to the brown wolf she had almost tumbled over before the meeting. Roles were so exciting. Her sadness was not far from reach but at least it was out of sight for now. His nervous movements made Lotus a bit confused, she wagged her tail for him anyway.
      * Fianna however, unlike Panther, would be right next to Loumacy and though the excitement was nice, the boisterous loudness could perhaps be softened a touch and knowing she had been made the fae’s mentor, she would lean in close to the fae’s ear and whisper once she had finished speaking,”The words were good, but in a meeting, with wolves all gathered in close, measure your voice and people will listen more closely and more willingly to what you have to say.” She licked the fae’s cheek once, just to soften her words but her gaze held serious before she’d turn back to stamp a paw as Saskia took her first steps as pledge! When Sanek was called, Fianna sat back and would listen attentively.
      * Rook A firm stamp of his paw was given in congratulations to the fae, and when she dipped her head to him he would do likewise to her. Mutual respect and reciprocity were the fledgling ground upon which meaningful relationships flourished. He was happy for that opportunity. His amber hues would track the male that Kova called forward. Little story was known to Rook concerning Sanek, but that was because neither had crossed much path. He would have rectify that in the coming days, he thought.
<Kova> “Sanek, you’ve been a member with us for sometime and throughout your dedication here you’ve shared a knowledge and as well, a desire to see your pack and family safe. It’s wellbeing looked after and tended.” she began allowing her words to flow like the gentle thrumming of the creek nearby. “I would like to ask you, Sanek, if you would help continue to keep the pack safe, and ensure our boundaries well marked and observed, and take up first scout in training?”
      * Lotus That must be a big deal, to be the first of something. It peaked her interest and she perked her ears to listen to the possible promotion.
      * Loumacy felt the tickle of Fianna’s words on her ear, though the tone held a bit of seriousness, that made Lou bow her head, and run her foreleg against the bridge of her maw giving a soft whine as her mentor reeled her back in. Her tail tucked her ears flattened, looking a bit anxious, but drinking in the wisdom all the same. “Sorry,” She whispered, staring at her paws. It didn’t take
      * Loumacy much to shift the femme’s mood from high to low and to somewhere inbetween, and Fianna would appear to have a knack for getting her to the acceptable level with the softest of reprimands and the sweetest of gestures. At the feeling of the lick on her cheek Loumacy relaxed and settled beside Fianna, leaning against her. When Saskia approached her tail thumped, but she would nose Fia, a sign
      * Loumacy that she heard, and that she would be quiet, though welcoming to her friend’s companionship. Saskia settled she would nose her, but say nothing, just grin.
      * Sanek was a bit surprised, he thought he’d been called up for something else. “A scout?” he realized he had spoken aloud. Oops. He considered the rank. He liked to sniff and explore. And searching for predators and marking the northern boundaries were both enjoyable. He finally nodded “I would. I will do anything to ensure the
      * Sanek pack is safe, and I feel I will do so best as a scout” he wondered who would train him.
      * Kova eyes careful and guaged his reaction. His language spoken and shared through his body. She kept her own frame rigid but light. Attention upon him souly. “As a scout in training, you will learn from not only myself, but from Fianna, and others who would help share that knowledge with you. Are you willing to move forward and to see to the saftey of our home beyond the clearing? Beyond these ..
<Kova> .. borders and beyond even that?”
      * Salem wove through the forest, momentarily pausing as the scents of numerous others reached his nose. Placing his paws down quietly one after the other, he made his way through the forest until he made it to the edge of the Clearing where he was able to take in not only the scents of others but around the distant sight of shapes around the Alpha Rock and though the soft crunch of snow
      * Salem would betray his late arrival, he tried to keep them quiet enough to not draw too much attention to himself and also listen in to what was being discussed.
*CwnAnnwn He perked up and listened as Kova spoke to Sanek of becoming a scout in training, he remembered his father once was a scout for the pack and shared much of his knowledge with him, it was a position he felt he might end up in at some point. He was happy to see that the scout ranks were going to start filling again.
      * Saskia would wag her tail at Sanek’s new rank in the pack. Wow! A scout in training.. that sounded important. She smiled at Loumacy’s nose as well.
      * Sanek he would look into Kova’s eyes to emphasize his word “Aye.” he said with a firm nod of his head. This was what he wanted to be. He looked around, to see what the pack thought of this. What Panther thought.
*Panther He stamped his paw for Saskia’s pledging, then watched as Sanek left his side and went forward. He smiled softly, then looked over his shoulder at Lou, he mouthed a ‘thank you’ in Fianna’s direction. His tail curled around his flank, as he dipped his head to Fianna, Calder, and Loumacy. His gaze then switched to Sanek and Kova. His friend was becoming a scout in training? The first scout in training. He smiled softly, and he got ready to howl, or stamp his paw, in congratulations. He knew scouts were a big deal, but his friend was gonna to be going beyond the borders without him? He had only done that when the four wolves went north once, and they didn’t even go past the borders. He smiled, thankful his friend would be getting a rank. His tail wagged in excitement as he listened further.
      * Fianna At the knowledge of Sanek becoming scout in training, Fianna’s eyes lit a bit and she leaned forward with interest. She had carried the title of scout for quite a while, and she would watch Sanek’s path to becoming a full scout with eagerness. The pack needed more of that rank for sure.
      * Loumacy listened as Great Alpha Kova offered Sanek a scouting position and he accepted! She began to whine, her paws began to tippy tappy, were they going to howl for him!? She looked to Fia, then to Sanek, then to Kova, then to Saskia, then back to Fia! He said yes! He did say yes, didn’t he?
      * Code moved over to Saskia and Loumacy, smiling. She whispered, “good job!” to the brown fae, sitting down before returning her gaze to the alpha once more. Ooo, a scout? That sounded cool! There were so many cool ranks and things that she had never come across before and it made her all the more curious about each new one mentioned at a
      * Code meeting. Her tail wagged a little as she shuffled her paws and wondered if the pack was going to howl? Howling was fun, yes! It was the best part of meetings!
      * Kova to Sanek’s words she’d carefully read his own. A slow dip of her head given when he agreed to be trained, she would offer a swing of her tail once, then stilled it. “Then, I wish to name you Sanek, Scout in Training.” her paw would rise then stomp on the stone again for Sanek. She would allow the others to offer their celebratory expressions before she swung her tail then stilled it. ..
<Kova> .. “As well, Sanek, Scout in training, I would like to also ask that you become a mentor to an Assessment. To you I assign Calder.” she cast long her gaze across all the wolves and it fell to the male. She dipped her head to him then looked back to Sanek. “Show him our ways. Our lore and knowledge to help him on the journey to becoming pack.”
      * Lotus stamped her paw in congratulations for Sanek. She was happy that the pack was building up so efficiently. He seemed like he would be great as a scout, even though she didn’t know him very well. Two jobs in one meeting? He was going to be busy!
<Calder> He would hear his name mentioned and would turn to Sanek. He would be appointed a mentor and thought Sanek to be well choice. He’d not seen much of him, but was glad that would change and his tail swung slowly behind him. Should Sanek look this way he would dip his head in agreement – happy for the guidance.
      * Rook So his sister would be in charge of someone else, eh? Woe be to Sanek, the target of the bossy bear? He chuckled quietly at the thought. The bear was certainly a good choice to learn the ways of ensuring what paths to take and what horizons to view. No gesture or reaction was given until the naming Sanek was complete; only then would he offer a firm stamp of his paw.
      * Panther He stamped his paw for his friend, and the newly made mentor. He grinned as his tail wagged. He glanced over towards Saskia, he would have to congratulate her. He was excited to see Sanek’s journey to becoming a full Scout for the pack. He deserved the rank, for he was quite the tracker.
      * Saskia would learn something now of the paw stamping. If this meant she was happy for Sanek’s new rank, she would throw her paw to the ground and offer a smile, happy for him though they barely acquainted themselves before.
      * Loumacy heard the paw stamping and swallowed back the howl, but boy could her paws stamp with the best of them and she tippy tapped and mashed that snow into the earth for Sanek, and Calder who had a mentor now too!
      * Salem picked a spot in the back to settle in and caught the last of Kova’s words of Sanek being named a Scout. He stamped his paw not just once but twice for the advancement as well as taking on the role as a mentor in teaching the pack’s ways.
      * Sanek he was about to turn around and go back to his seat, but Kova had more to add so he stopped himself. So he -was- going to be a mentor to some wolf. To Calder. He glanced to the brute and wagged lightly. He didn’t really know Calder well, but he did want to, and was also willing to teach him. With a final nod to show he was looking forward
      * Sanek to teaching, and perhaps learning something too, he would now move back to his spot next to Panther.
      * Kova would allow Sanek to take his place where he desired to sit before turning then to the other wolves. She adjusted her frame to stand a little more firm and comfortable. She would see Lotus among the other wolves and would shift her weight again and spoke to the fae directly. “Lotus, I still task to you, to see your guide and upon the next calling of a meeting, I will call upon you once more.”
      * Kova hopefully the fae heard her before departing. Her attention would withdrawl from the fae before she would cast her gaze to the wolves present. She would dip her head once more and smile to those who had heeded the call. “A short but very meaingful meeting. I thank those who attended, but before we depart, does any wolf have anything they’d like to share? A question, perhaps?”
*CwnAnnwn He would stamp his paw for Sanek’s advancement to scout in training as he wondered if he would join him there one day, though he would take on whatever role was deemed to suit him. He glanced to those gathered to see if anyone was going to share anything or ask a question.
      * Fianna would stamp her paw too as Sanek took his rank and felt her banner wave. She would do her best to pass on the knowledge that she had gleaned and gathered during her time as Guardian Scout. When Kova tasked him with mentoring Calder she glanced at her mate, wondering how he’d take the news and was glad to see him seem keen to the idea. She’s nose him gently, then sit quietly for the remainder of the meeting.  Kova was doing so well, and it was with pride that she gazed at the Alphess. She would hope to speak with her soon.
      * Code was disappointed that they weren’t allowed to howl, but stomped her paw on the snow as that seemed like the right thing to do. She settled down as Kova spoke once more, remembering Lotus still had not been named a pledge. Hopefully next meeting, then. Perhaps they might be able to become friends by then? Yes, that would be good! She loved
      * Code friends! She kept silent as the alpha asked if there were any questions, as she didn’t have much to say. She hoped that once the meeting broke up she might be able to apologise to Rook for her behaviour during the previous gathering. No grudges had been held on her side but she wanted to be sure to reconcile as she didn’t know if he was
      * Code still mad at her.
      * Rook No questions from his end of the peanut gallery were forthcoming, but perhaps others would have something to add or ask? He looked about curious to that end was at least gladdened to see those that had gathered. He inwardly chuckled at seeing what his father had planted; he wondered if they would continue the tradition of the paw stamp if they knew that the old grump had been the one to start it way back in the day? Perhaps so; he would at least continue it.
      * Saskia wouldn’t have any questions and pondered what would be after the meeting. She would perhaps congratulate Sanek, seek out Calder to introduce herself.. should Fianna allow it? She gulped. She would also seek out Panther maybe.
      * Sanek wondered how it would go with him mentoring Calder and being taught how to scout himself. There weren’t any scouts around here, were there? So Fianna had been a scout? Or still was? He tried to remember if it ever came up, and in doing so, zoned out and became lost in thought.
      * Loumacy leaned on Fianna, being overall a bit lazy and goofy tonight. Calder was on the other side of Fianna, and she could have sworn Saskia settled down next her her. Her head lifted wondering where Code was as the meeting seemed to draw somewhat to an end perhaps?
      * Kova when the others would cast their glances upon her and perhaps the others, she would find that no others desired to speak and that suited her well, to. She swung her tail a few times before she would bow her head and offer in lightened tones “Then, I would like to conclude tonights meeting and wish peace and rest for the evening. Gather your strength for soon we hunt as a pack.” her ..
<Kova> .. tongue drew across her muzzle in anticipation. Perhaps she was hungry now? All the same, she’d allow the others to mingle and rest if they desired.

        Pack Meeting Begins

        * Atraya would make note of the wolves present by their scents and smells. She would hear Shukie’s approach and Timber’s, to. She gave a dip of her head “I will pass, but Leora will need something to eat.” she said before turnin an ear to the east and back again. Many smells amongst the few, and so she would finally settle on her haunches and there, lift her muzzle to howl for a gathering.
        * Kova would have been making a line towards Fianna and Calder, and was getting close to, until she heard the howl of Atraya. She huffed a little before turning and seating herself nearby. SHe gave a dip of her head to her sister.
        * Shukie nodded first to Kwa`ani with an eye upon Timber noting is look to those gathers, linging on the males perhaps assessing them? Naw, what ever reason would he have for that for he was but a visitor here himself. She still had not learned of his discussion with Atraya that first night and likely she never would? “Aye, of course.” most their scents, some very faint were likely upon
        * Shukie her fur others not. “No one is ever in the way at a meeting, pack, joining or just visitors.” her tones had again softened. “Since you want to learn of our pack, perhaps remaining within the local area would be best for you? and you might managed to meet properly more of those here?” totally oblivious to him desire to remain a shadow otherwise. She glance now to Atraya, “I hope
        * Shukie you enjoy our gift, my alpha.” nudging the marmot to where she could easily get to it when she so chose to do so. As Atraya howled for the meeting she added her own tones after giving Kwa`ani and Timber a nod and moving to stand beside Atraya at the base of the alpha stone.
        * Panther dipped his head to the fae, “I’m Panther.” He greets “Nice to meet you, Fianna!” He added. He dipped his head again, then turned his gaze towards the fae’s mother, Atraya, the alpha. He hadn’t been to a meeting yet, this was his first time but he was already enjoying it.
        * Sanek lifted his ears to a meeting howl, would meetings always be this frequent? Maybe Panther would get his chance to become a pledge, which Sanek really hoped for, he felt their friendship growing. He sat himself near the stone, waiting for more wolves to arrive. He nodded his head to all that were gathered by now.
<Calder> Would watch the interactions between Panther and Fianna. He narrowed his eyes if only to observe, closely, said interaction from Panther. He felt his frame rumble but he sustained a pose figure. He heard the howl from Atraya, and resided nearby and kept himself seated.
        * CwnAnnwn had been settled in the trees along the western edge of the clearing when the summons for a gathering was made. Slowly the silver pelted brute would rise to his paws, still lightly favouring his front right leg. He padded towards the alpha’s rock, swinging his head as he scanned to clearing, noting those whom were present before finding a spot to settle upon his haunches from
        * CwnAnnwn which he could observe to meeting.
Fianna would wag once, then as her mother would howl the beginning of the meeting she would dip her head to Panther. “If you’ll excuse me.” She would move to settle back beside Calder, spying Kova’s arrival and if the fae caught her eye she’d smile and wag a greeting, not to draw attention away from.the meeting she’d sit at attention and listen keenly. She’d missed Calder’s eyeing, but when she returned to his side she’d nuzzle him once with a wag.
        * Panther slowly trotted towards Sanek, he hoped to sit near the brute as he trusted the brute, well..As much as he can trust the brute. He dipped his head to Sanek, Panther was behind sanek off to the side, though still nearby.

Timber would dip his head in a low bow to Shukie, then to Kwa’ani as the fae offered for him to remain nearby to listen to their histories. He rumbled in thought, “Perhaps..I will do so.” He allowed and rather than moving to the faarrr back, he would only move near the back, settling just behind Calder and Fianna, near where he had seen Shakira, a fae he’d not introduced yet, only seen. He nodded to her, offering a bow of his head before sweeping his gaze to see who else had gather. More males than he had initially known to frequent this territory. Some were knew though, growth, anoter sign that this pack was thriving.
        * Atraya would sense the wolves present before nosing Shukie lightly. 14″Panther…” she called out to those gathered. “Please come forward.”
        * Panther would tilt his head. but he followed through. He padded forward keeping his emerald gaze upon Atraya. He was kind of oblivious what was happening, but he knew he just had to listen and follow requests and demands.
        * Hati` had been, once again, in the northern forest above The Clearing. She was already on her back back southward, towards Alpha Rock and with haste and wasn’t stopping for anything unless another had caught up with her. The fae was on a mission – to get to the Rock. she hadn’t been far from the treeline in general so soon she would be popping out into the open. As she booked it south
        * Hati` still, she would poke a nose to the air and take in the scents which just coaxed her into a hard run.
        * Atraya would wait to feel a nudge or sense Panther closer to begin. “Panther, you have been with the pack for a little while now, and it’s come to my attention you desire to be a part of this pack, and this family. I wish to ask you now, is this still your desire to join WolfSpirits?”
        * Fianna would shift some, her eyes going to Kwa’ani for a moment as the meeting began. She had enjoyed her sister’s closeness over the last days. Then her gaze caught a fae running towards them, her brow raising. She didn’t recognize her or her scent and her guard went up until the fae drew closer. The other’s seemed fine with her approach, but for the time being she would watch the fae, noting her demeanor.
        * Rune ’s head pops out of the boulders at the sound of Atraya’s nearby howl. Had something gone wrong? She snatches up one of her nearby herb bundles that hadn’t been put away yet and lopes off towards Alpha Rock, still coated in mud and debris. The Caretaker hoped the herbs wouldn’t be needed but she certainly wouldn’t stop to clean her pelt out just in case it was a matter of importance.
        * Panther nudged Atraya softly. “Yes, It is my desire to join WolfSpirits, to be part of this pack, This family.” He spoke, He sounded confident about his choice. “I wish to stay with this pack until i’m dead.” He added softly. ‘No more running.’ He thought to himself
        * CwnAnnwn perked and looked towards the unknown male as he was summoned before Atraya. He watched and listened as he went through the process that he himself had just gone through the week prior. Sitting slightly off from the others, he wrapped his silber tail about his paws. When Panther was named pledge, he tilted his maw skywards and let out a low howl for the other male in celebration
        * CwnAnnwn of taking his first steps to becoming a full pack member.
        * Leora the young fae wasn’t far, she was near the rock, in fact. Having NO idea what was going on??? Egads…. was……was that the evil monster!? just as Rune came through, she felt herself hunch against the stone.
        * Shukie too would tamp her paw upon the ground, “Welcome to the beginning of your journey as a WolfSpirit. You may address yourself to others as Pledge of WolfSpirits.” She smiled as Atraya continued.
        * Kwa`ani yipped for Panther’s ascent to Pledge giving a soft howl of congrats, tail wagging.
        * Kova swung her tail quickly behind her as it stilled, seeing Panther ascend to pledge. The pack was indeed growing and she couldn’t help but feel fufilled by it. She too stomped a paw in Panther’s honor of making pledge!
        * Sanek rejoiced silently in his head, it was done! He sang to the heavens above, let them hear that this wolf would stay! If Panther would pass by as he came back he would whisper “Congratulations” and smile.
        * Rune ’s long, mud-covered, legs make quick work of the Clearing and she was glad to see that there was no emergency in fact, simply another meeting, how odd to have another one so soon. She sticks to the outside of the group, not wanting to be a distraction to those gathered. Her eyes scan the crowd and they settle upon Leora, she was glad to see the pup, but confused as to why she was cowering. If she was able, Rune would wag her
        * Rune tail at the pup before taking a seat near the fringes.
        * Panther wagged his tail gently. He padded back down to Sanek. “Thank you..” He whispers, “Thank you friend.” He spoke lightly. He dipped his head to Shukie and Atraya. His tassel still wavering itself around behind him. He was excited nonetheless.
        * Hati` made it to the Rock, slowing and then halting behind the many others. Many of them were established and her natural instinct would keep her behind them all, anyways. Hati had just caught the tail end of that admittanace of Panther and would smile. She had chatted with him before. She stamped her paw with the otheres and then took a seated position and gave a happy yip towards Panther as he went back to his spot.
Timber lifted his head at the question, considering it deep within himself, and yet… His gaze moved to the mountains where his heart also ranged, then to Shukie… And back again around the wolves. He rose to all fours and wandered a few steps forward to speak before Atraya when she called out. “I have been within your wonderful lands for months now, I have seen better the workings of a pack than ever before. I am a wanderer at heart, yet as I have gotten to know a few of you..” His gaze moved to Shukie, “I ask myself if I might have a family one day as I have seen. I do not know your pack law well, and so I do not know if it is within those bounds that I ask to pledge. I cannot say if my paws will always remain within these lands, yet they will.remain nearby, and I will ever hold the interest of this pack at heart…” It was as much as he could allow for
<`Raven> himself, to try, to see what may come.

        * Rune ’s eyes follow Panther as he departs from the base of Alpha Rock, the pack congratulating him just as she was arriving. She and Kova had acquainted themselves with him a few nights ago, Rune was glad to have even more new wolves join the fold. As Timber steps forward to answer Atraya’s call, the Caretaker recognizes her horrendously disheveled appearance and begins to do what she can to groom the debris out of her pelt.
        * Timber would shift as he spoke, his gaze unwavering at last upon the blind Alphess. What would she say? Given his latest conversation with her alone, she knew more of him than many others here. Yet he had made a promise to her, … One he had every intention of seeing through. And thus far# she had proven more than equal to the task.
        * Shukie ‘s brows raised or what resembled brows on a wolf at Timber coming forth and his requst to pledge. She couldn’t help but think there was some double meanings there but dismissed the thoughts. It was good he admitted to his wandering way tho. Time would tell if he would stick or not, as was the case with all pledges on up. She remained quiet tho.
        * Atraya recalled her conversation with Timber and gave him a moment of pause. If only to allow his words to reach her own and for those considerations to be made. She, like her mother, gave all wolves the chance to forge their own paths and legacies within their home. This would be no different. She remained standing, her blind gaze looking ahead as she rose her paw slowly “Timber, your words »»
<Atraya> »» have been heard as well your desire to join my family and my pack. Per our previous conversation, I am glad that you have chosen to seek out a new path here.” the later of his words coming across to her, and she gave a nod to him. Not all wolves who came to WolfSpirits always stayed all the time, but, it was the mention and thought of family no matter how long it may be, is what kept it alive. »»
<Atraya> »» Though what would be asked of him and all the other pledges would be the same. “Then.. as you have lay your heart to those you desire to call family, I will accept your request and name you Pledge of WolfSpirits. May your journey be true, strong, and fulfilled by your heart.” she lowered her paw and stomped the earth.
        * Panther ‘s ears twitch in excitement, he to chuffed happily towards Hati`. He glances towards a brute who walks forth, Panther tilts his head. He hadn’t met this wolf and the way he glances at Shukie, would he want to actually greet this male? Panther dismissed the thought, he knew he would have to greet all the wolves eventually.
        * CwnAnnwn ruffled his pelt slightly as his gaze was drawn to another male he was not familiar with, his mind drifted to wondering if the number of males suddenly joining the pack had anything to do with it being that time of year. A deeper thought for later maybe, his focus now back on the meeting at hand as he listened to Timber speak his piece and Atraya’s response. Once more the silver
        * CwnAnnwn male tilted his head heavenward and let out a low howl for yet another pledge taking the first steps towards packhood.
        * Kwa`ani gave a yip for the male she’d just recently met giving the brute a brief nod but not letting her gaze linger
        {Timber rumbles an unheard snicker to these posts}
        * Shukie tamped her paw to Timber’s pledge, “Welcome to our Family, Timber.” She gave a tamping of her paw curious to see what would unfold where this one was concerned.
        * Shakira lifted her voice with the rest of the pack for the naming of newest Pledges, one of which she would have to smooth over past indecencies with, but she was willing to try to start anew as long as he remembered his place in the pack.
        * Hati` stamped a paw and gave a “ruuu” as she tossed her head back. Once settling, she smiled and watched still. She had not met Timber, or a majority of the others.
        * Atraya when the calls and chuffs would subside for Timber, she gave a dip of her head in his direction before her nose would pick the wolves present. Shakira being one of them, she smiled. She chuffed “Shakira, please come forward.”
Timber would feel a trickle of surprise when he was allowed the title of pledge, and unusually for him, he felt a tangle of sudden nerves. What had he just gotten himself into? Steady he would soon grow though and he would rumble his thanks to Atraya, glanced around to the other’s and their congratulations and his tail would sway a few times gracefully as the large prematurely white male would move back to take his place near a slightly disheveled Rune who seemed very intent on getting the leaves from. Her. He bowed to her in greeting knowing there would be time for introduction later, then sat down, ready to shrink into the background again, and ponder his choice and what should come next.
        * Panther stamped his paw as the others dip so, He dips his head towards Timber, He would have to greet him sooner or later. Preferably later since it’s the season, and he didn’t know how it would affect Timber. He shook his head relieving himself of his wild thoughts, or he hoped it would relieve him.
        * Shukie glanced around smiling with pride at the wolves of this realm, joining the pack, it’s growth. Bright times indeed were ahead for the pack.
        * Fianna would be curious indeed to see Timber join the ranks of pledges, and she’d have stamped a paw and waved her tail with excitement as well, glad to see her reservations had not been warranted. When Shakira was called forth, she would perk, excited to see what was in store for her friend and pack mate.
        * Rune dips her head in greeting to Timber, who settled nearby. “Congratulations.” She says to him softly, not wanting to interrupt the meeting, then returns to grooming her pelt. She lifts her head to pay full attention at the mention of Shakira’s name. Rune had not seen the tawny fae in some time and her eyes quickly dart around the crowd to follow her as she approaches Shukie and Atraya.
        * Sanek layed down in a comfortable position, he wondered how things functioned a long time ago, was there always this many pledges? He tried paying attention but his mind liked zoning out sometimes.
        * Shakira ‘s ears perked as the calls of congratulations died down and her name was called, stepping forward from where she was seated near the back, her head and tail lowered in respect for the Alpha. “Yes, my Alpha? I am here.” She spoke, lifting her eyes to the she-wolf.
        * Atraya smelling the fae near and close, she would wager she was close now. “Shakira, you have held the mantle of Huntress for sometime now. You’ve forged a true and strong path to this calling, from what I’ve seen before my sight was no more, and now, to those who claim praise to you, rightfully deserved. I wish to ask you now, do you still wish to honor the pack by being our Huntress?”
        * Shukie smiled for the fae had proven herself with the recent tasks given, with flying colors. A wide smile on her muzzle as she took in how Atraya phrased things, having heard the promotions over the years, each a tad different.
        * CwnAnnwn looked about the clearing a moment, seeing a few wolves who hadn’t been here when he arrived for the meeting. His gaze spotted an abnormally muddy Rune, he also noted that Timber had settled near her. He tilted his head slightly as he contemplated moving, but was drawn back to the meeting when Shakira was called forth. Turning his gaze to the rock, he listened as she was being
        * CwnAnnwn offered the position of hunter.
        * Rune ’s tail sweeps the ground as Atraya extends the rank of Huntress to Shakira. The russian fae had always had a deep admiration for the Hunters and Huntresses of the pack, it was a skill that she had never quite mastered and she couldn’t think of a wolf more deserving of the title. By now, Rune had managed to remove the organic plant matter from her coat and her ivory fur was now only slightly discolored from the mud that woul
        * Rune d require a deeper cleaning. Hopefully she was no longer the scary mud-monster that Leora originally thought her to be.
        * Timber slid his gaze back to Rune when she would congratulate him, offering her a lazy smile and a bother dip of his large yet regal head. His low voice would rumble as soft as hers though more rough. “Thank you Fae of Flora.” His tones would taper off then. He didn’t know her true name yet but by the looks of her she enjoyed nature as much as he did,… Or more. Finally he’d move his gaze back to watch as this fae Shakira would respond to her calling. Musing again over ranks, and their significance, Timber would settle down slowly onto his belly, lounging as he watched the proceedings.
        * Shakira ‘s tail began to wag in earnest, her heart full at hearing that others had offered words of praise of her dedication to the pack. “It would be an extraordinary honor to continue on the path of being a Huntress for my family. I hope to prove myself to you and the rest of the pack every day as long as I breathe.” She said, her paws seeming to dance slightly as she shifted her weight.
        * Atraya upon Shakira’s words and the conviction of a pure heart in the desire to server her pack and family in such a rank, she would give a nod and a smile. Her paws remained well placed on the stone before she would dip her head in Shakira’s direction. “A huntress is keen to the hunt. Well versed in the wilds and the herds within out home. As Huntress of WolfSpirits you will cull the weak, and »»
<Atraya> »» feed our pack and family. You will gather your fellow members and hunt to sustain us. For this, I am deeply honored to have the privilage of naming you Shakira.. huntress of WolfSpirits!” her breath would heeve in before she rose her muzzle and howled into the night’s sky for Shakira. Well deserved!
        * Kova upon the promotion granted by Atraya to Shakira as huntress, she would howl to the sky! Her paws would knead the earth a little with the joy she felt for the fae. Well deserved indeed! She was fond of Shakira and knew well her prowess in the hunt. A force to be reckon with!
        * Fianna would lift her muzzle for such a well-earned rank deserved a howl! She lifted her own song in congratulations to Shakira, her tail waving free.
        * Panther held his gaze on Shakira, He was feeling eager. Eager to apologize maybe? He tilted his head back and parted his jowls as a deep howl erupted from his mouth. As he howled he stamped his paw against the ground.
        * Hati` gave a howl and padded her paws against the ground as Shakira was named Huntress. Her tail swayed side to side, sweeping the rock as it did so.
        * Shukie gave a howl of congrats to Shakira for the fae had earned it!!
        * Sanek at first thought Shakira was already a huntress, taken down a doe like that! As he turned an ear to the howls he’d also offer one, glad that such a great wolf took on such an important role in the pack.
        * Kwa`ani howled for Shakira, it was good to have a solid huntress in the pack once more. She still couldn’t believe the fae had downed the blacktail on her own. The fae was deserving
        * Rune flicks and ear in curious consideration at Timber’s greeting, Fae of Flora, interesting. Her attention was only on Timber for a brief moment though before she lifts her muzzle in joyous song, her heart full for Shakira and her advancement within the pack. She remembered when both Shakira and herself were new to the pack, oh how long ago that was. The ivory and russet fae would be sure to congratulate her personally after the m
        * Rune eeting came to an end.
        * CwnAnnwn tilted his head back to let out a low howl for the fae as she was named pack hunter. As he lowered his muzzle, he pondered what he would become when the time came, would he follow his father’s pawsteps and become a scout or would he end up forging his own path? Time would tell, and he still had to make it through the pledge and assessment phases.
        * Shakira couldn’t help but lift her voice once more out of sheer joy, her howl one of promise and eagerness to serve the pack with every fiber of her being.

        * Atraya there was a long pause if only to allow all the congratulations to go out. It would also afford her pause for emotion of her words, soon to be reached in their entirety from a tone prepared to say them and continue with the meeting. Pride swelling in her tones, but as well, a knowing recline of emotion. “Tonight will be a night of great celebration. Tonight is a night of celebration.  Tonight will be a night worthy of note for lore in the future generations. Tonight will be a night that will bring change to WolfSpirits.” The moon would strike her silvery fur, causing it to glisten only a little for the old and tired frame of an Alpha and fae who has seen much in her lifetime, was ready for change, but she was still very much a strong and proud wolf. The tone would start to change as the gears shifted in the meeting’s movements. “I made a vow to this pack and to this family that I would protect it until my dying breath. That my life, my spirit, and my soul belonged to her, and to all of you. Forever and always that will be true. Part of that promise is to ensure that this pack continues to live, breath and thrive for generations to come.” she paused to glance to the left and right of her before looking ahead. “Both of your Alphas had made these vows. Should we ever feel that we could not fulfill that duty, or that promise, that we would be truthful and step to allow another to take that mantle.” though her mate was not here to speak for himself, his current circumstances would dictate the outcome of the obvious. “I grow old. It is of no <Atraya> »» surprise that my usefulness sense our last adventure has rendered me incapable of fully performing my duties as your Alpha. As such.. I have proposed the grooming of a new Alpha of WolfSpirits, so that I may step down in the near future and take my place as Elder. My choice has been given to Shukie, your Beta, to take the mantle as Alpha, until a new one can be named in her place or alongside her in the future.” she gave pause before turning her hues to Shukie. “Shukie… you have been a strong hold for this pack when I could not be there in it’s fullest capacity. You have learned the ways of being an Alpha through Beta. Your heart is pure, your spirit true. I wish to extend this to you and offer the role as co-Alpha alongside me until I step fully from it. Do you accept?”

        * Shukie knew this was to occur and not a surprise as other promotions had been. It had long been in the making. Still, as each word Atraya spoke, the emotions swelled, sometimes choking the breath in her throat. “It is a great honor you have bestowed upon me, My Alpha.” She paused letting Atraya know she had something to say first to the pack before accepting. “However, before I
        * Shukie can fully accept the position you offer me, it is not for just you and I to agree to this, it is for the pack to agree as well. Without their concurrence, the pack would fade if they do not see me as their alpha aside in title.” She turned now and looked out among the assembled wolves, “I have been asked to become your Alpha. I cannot do this unless all here from ranked,
        * Shukie subordinate, assessments and pledges and visitors alike concur and agree to accept me as your new Alpha. We each have only known Atraya and Faolan as our Alphas, some just Atraya, though a few of us knew Kovo or knew of her before she passed.” She and Kova had been there as weeee pups when Kovo passed. She caught each wolf’s gaze, those up close and those in the distance.
        * Shukie “I ask you all now, to say your peace and thoughts on this. Let us go in rank order.” She liked keeping things organized when she could which seemed rarely to happen. She turned to Kova, her sister and the pack’s Delta giving her a nod. This was part of what Kyara had taught herself and Kova, all must see a wolf in the position offered and not just in title. The words she
        * Shukie used, tho her own were from within the inner recesses of her memories, her genes, passed down to her from her Ancestor, ShukuWolf, First Wolf, Alpha of GlacierWinds, so many, many years ago long before her birth.

        * Sanek finally started paying attention, was he to witness a transition of leadership? He watched in silence, ears outstretched, wanting to hear Shukie’s words loud and clear. If there was a wolf for this position it would definetly be Shukie.
Timber would listen to the song of the fae’s and males around him, hearing the rise and swell of it as they welcomed a mighty huntress to take her place. He allowed his tail to sway back and forth, his ears perked and his gaze would follow Shakira for a moment as she returned to.her place, offering her a dip of his head if she passed nearby. He would absorb the tales of this pack as if it were chapter of nature completely new to him. When he tuned to what Atraya said next he leaned forward a bit, intrigued and not a little surprised. The title of alpha, handed to another just like that? He had never seen a thing done in such a way, and yet, what better way to care for one pack as an alpha, than to choose one well.suited to follow? He could not fault her choice, and his eyes moved to Shukie as the fae spoke next, following her words closely, absorbing them for  later thought. She would ask the thoughts of the pack? Again he had cause for deep thought. Quietly he would listen to what they had to say.
        * Kova couldn’t have possibly be prepared for this moment, but knew it would come. She took in a deep breath, allowing her words and their shared voices be heard. Approval was sought. She felt that Shukie was more then capable, and sense their long journey to WolfSpirits and the bonds in which they forged throughout, this was a true steel of a request. “I do not object and would follow Shukie to »»
<Kova> »» the ends of any means for this pack, this I pledge.”
        * Shukie nodded and smiled to her sister looking next to Shakira. “Huntress of WolfSpirits, will you accept me as your Alpha?” her tones soft, steadfast and a bit timid to make the request of all the pack yet knew it was right to do so. Also looked to Fianna and Kwa`ani for their acceptance.
*Fianna So.. This is what her mother had hinted at earlier. A way for her mother to rest a bit more, to slowly step down for another to lead. It hurt her heart though she had just asked for her mother to consider allowing another to make sacrifices in her stead. She felt shaky, as if her world were rocking, for it should still be her mother and father up there, and yet at the same time her heart resonated with the rightness of Shukie taking that place. When it was her turn to speak she would take one step, her eyes on Shukie and offer, “Shukie has met each and every one of us where we are at, and helped us to grow. She has seen our potential and coaxed us to even greater heights. I wholeheartedly accept you Shukie, as my alpha. Now and forever.” Her gaze slid to her mother then, sorrow accompanying her pride for Shukie, and she settled back onto.her haunches.
        * Shakira ‘s tail picked up speed at the offer extended to Shukie. “I would gladly accept you as my Alpha and follow you wherever you may lead. I trust you.” She said, her smile so wide it seemed to engulf her whole face.
        * Kwa`ani sat up straighter at what was unfolding before her, a flux of emotions, extreme happines and anger that her mother would no longer be alpha. She heard what her mother had said, accepted and still did not like it. Deep inside she knew it to be true and could think of no other than Shukie at this time. She was silent for a long while. I have know you and traveled with you. “You are
        * Kwa`ani worthy of »»
<Kwa`ani> »» Alpha and often been Acting Alpha.” She paused, her voice choked up, “I do not want my mother to step down yet I, I have to nod that it is time.” Again she pause, “I’ll always see Atraya as my Alpha yet I also can see you, Shukie as my Alpha and pledge to follow you now.” she’d have to sort out the emotions later yet she knew this was right. With a low whine for her mother’s
        <Kwa`ani> monumental step to »»
<Kwa`ani> »» let another lead her pack, she gave a deep bow to Shukie and her mum. WIth a nod to Shakira and her sister, Fianna, she turned her gaze to Shukie, “You are my Alpha now, as my mother shall always remain as well to me.” «end
        * Shukie next looked to Rune for her concurrance, a slow breath of relief escaping her muzzle tho no one would notice for the tight control she held
        * Rune ’s expression would be bittersweet, her eyes wide and ears turned outwards. Alpha Atraya was all she had ever known within the WolfSpirits, she’d heard stories of the Great Kovo and there was no doubt in her mind that Atraya to would be remembered as a Great Alpha alongside her mother. It appeared as if Shukie would be the next to bear that honor and responsibility. She watches as wolves step forward to confirm the passing o
        * Rune f the torch. The Caretaker rises to her paws as Shukie addresses her. “My duty and loyalty are to the wellbeing of my family and the WolfSpirits. Shukie and Atraya, I am honored to support and stand by the both of you in this change. I pledge to welcome this new time in our history with grace.” The ivory and russet fae smiles and dips her head.
        * Shukie gave a dip of her head to Rune, a smile still upon her muzzle tho she tried to tempor it. She now opened it up to Leora, the pledges and visitors to speak. She knew Leora likely wouldn’t understand much. To the fae she offered, “Leora, this is a time of change, your mother and I shall continue to guide the pack.” her tones soft and gently.
        * CwnAnnwn perked up when Atraya began, head tilting slightly with a small frown, but he understood where she was coming from and knowing Shukie, knew the pack was being transitioned to good paws. The young male slowly stood up and padded a little closer to the rock, favouring his right front leg slightly. “Shukie, I have known you since your arrival here and I feel that you are very capable
        * CwnAnnwn of taking on such a role. My father is not here right now, but I do believe he would share my feelings on this.” He kept his gaze to her as he continued “As much as I do not like thinking of the day that Atraya is no longer our alpha, there comes a time when we all must step aside and let someone else take the mantle. I and I am sure my father, give our support to your new mantle
        * CwnAnnwn and know that Atraya’s faith is well placed and the pack will continue to grow stronger in your paws.” He would bow his head to Shukie before stepping back a few paces.
        * Leora she -was- there, cuddled to her little ‘blanky’. She wasn’t old enough to really know what was going on, or what it meant, but blinked up to Shukie. She gave a goof like expression like she was speaking her language this whole time. All the others agreed, so why not her? “Ysh!” she coood.
<Calder> Well, this was an eventful meeting. He watched Timber pledge as well Panther. Shakira to huntress, and now, it seemed the leadership was to be transitioned. Upon the request of their opinion, he would give a slow nod of his head and a deep rumble of his timber voice.~ I accept ~ was all he said. Though he didn’t interact with Shukie a whole lot as of late, the times he did he found her to »»
<Calder> »» be a worthy wolf. He remembered well what the fae did for the pack during their quest in the North.
        * Sanek waited for others to finish “Although I have been here for only a short period of time, I have seen you’re fit to be named alpha” he said the words without much thought, speaking whatever words came to him. He remembered some days ago moments where Shukie looked like a born alpha, commanding him around when he came, he chuckled slightly at the thought.
        * Panther dipped his head to Shukie. He just became a pledge did he really have any room to speak? Panther thought long and hard on what to say, he sighed. “Shukie, was the first wolf I met here, The first wolf I could ever trust.” Panther paused, “And I don’t trust often, I accept Shukie as my alpha.” He spoke. Was this fair? Why did he see a need to speak?
        * Hati` had been listening intently with her eyes moving to Atraya then to Shukie. A smile crept across her muzzle as she listened before she would take a step forward (but not to squeeze in between any wolves in front of her for them to mistake it as a rude shove or the like). “Shukie, you are the first one I encountered as I entered these lands and treated me fairly and welcomed
        * Hati` me.” Hati said, lowering her head as a bow, “I accept you as Alpha with a happy heart.”
        * Timber would heft himself up from where he had been laying when the other’s began speaking, and when it seemed it was his turn he too would meet her gaze, then look to Atraya. “When I first realized this pack was led by a blind fae, I did not understand how it could be so. Yet in only a short time it has already become clear to me that there is more passion, loyalty, and love here than can be accounted for by strength alone. Nay the heart tells it’s strength in different ways. I do not know Shukie as well as I’d like, but I see her fierce desire to protect those she loves, a quality most desirable in an alpha. I will follow your lead Shukie.” He dipped his head to her deeply, allowing the motion to linger.
        * Shukie nodded dipping her head in a deep intonation to each CwnAnnwn, Calder, Sanek..recalling her driving him from the ancient forest, Panther whom’s she’d had to chastise for his rude behavior and failure to acceed to authority, Hati`, and it would seem last but not least.. Timber. She watched the male closely tho not sure why she did not sure he would accept her.
        * Shukie then turned back to Atraya after each wolf had spoken their piece, “I am not capable of filling Kovo and Spirit’s paws, nor yours or Faolan’s. That is an impossible feat to strive for. What I can do is establish pawprints of my own, see that the ways of the WolfSpirits continues, our oaths to our ancestors is held firm and flourishes. The teachings shall be passed down as
        * Shukie best as I’m able. The knowledge of those that have gone before us, of old territories, friends and enemies alike. I cannot promise to do as you would for I am me.” She leaned in and gently nuzzled the Alpha, “I shall do all that I’m able to see the pack continue to prosper beneath my stewardship. Your leadership has been a beacon for all that have come within our lands;
        * Shukie the light you have shown to us all shines brighter still with the love you’ve so freely shared with us all despite our many flaws.” Her voice cracked now and then as the emotions swelled within her, bursting forth. Not from pride nor from desire to be Alpha, instead, the honor bestowed upon her. “Years ago when Kova and I returned, I once thought I was to be forever banished.
        * Shukie Lessons were learned. Once I even challenged you, during this very time of year.” Her voice often fading from emotion. “You and Faolan have guided this pack with your hearts, your energy and tutelage. I never aspired to be more than accepted as mere pack, a simple subordinate. You have seen fit to not allow that, forcing me to continue to grow and reach new heights with each passing moon and season.” She paused, gasping for air from her ramblings before continuing. “If you feel I am ready to lead the Legendary WolfSpirits,” her head gave a deep and low dip, rising only part way to lick-nibble at the Alpha’s chin before lifting it once more, her posture more prominent and showing confidence which had long been hidden beneath the surface.
        * Shukie “With your continued guidance for however long that may be, I accept this responsibility you graciously bestow upon me.” She avoided Timber’s gaze instead looking beyond him.
        * Atraya would offer a smile and an emotional dip of her head. All have spoken, all have shared their thoughts and their hearts. She brushed her nose along Shukie’s softly. Acceptance of such a transition was not an easy ask to those to the pack, present, and future of their family. She would be humbled to know of their choices and words shared. Her heart was warm and swelled with pride for Shukie »»
<Atraya> »» and for the pack. Acceptance given, she would dip her head once more and smiled, nosing Shukie. “As you have lay witness to the pack, our pack, and to those dedications made from a family that will accept your role as Alpha, that I accept, and I am truly honored to bestow, I would like to have the honor of naming you, Shukie, Alpha fae of WolfSpirits.” A monumental moment for the pack for »»
<Atraya> »» it had never had a wolf not of Kovos blood at its helm or mantle. Truly named. A new path for the pack and a new path for the members of the pack, that all can happen. She would take a deep breath before letting loose a low, honoring howl for Shukie. A new chapter for WolfSpirits begins. When the howls from the others began to join theirs in the sky, she’d allow Shukie to proceed with the rest »»
<Atraya> »» of what was left to honor this night.
        * Kova her heart would burst from all the shared emotions. Both physically and emotionally. A monumental day indeed. She was so proud of her sister, truly they had come so far. She would let loose a low howl that pitched higher in true honor for her sister! Alphess of WolfSpirits!
        * CwnAnnwn having stepped back and resettled upon his haunches, he would lift his muzzle once more as Atraya named Shukie Alpha fae and let out a howl for her and the new era that the pack was entering. He wasn’t sure how his father would take it, he expected that he would as he had stated, would accept it, Night had only known the pack being under the leadership of the Kovo bloodline and
        * CwnAnnwn it would be something to get use to.
<Calder> As the howls would follow along from one to another, he would feel the deep wellow in his chest and he lifted his muzzle and began to offer his own howl to the winds with all the others. Accepting a new fae as Alpha while Atraya worked on transition to her own desired place caused him much to think on,but for now was content in it’s switch.
<`Raven> <BreezyDawn> Fianna again would pour forth her howl, this time it would rise and fall as did the alphas in their own time. If only she could be as proud and gracious as her mother always was, as strong and yet as humble. Her mother would always a be a Beacon in her eyes, a force to be reckoned with, and yet she would Herald in the new alpha with as much honor and respect as she had.!
        * Shukie would then ascend the alpha stone to stand beside Atraya, unable to speak for several moments from all Atraya has pronounced and each of the packmembers. She was truly humbled. “I accept the position of Alpha of WolfSpirits, will continue to seek your council for whatever time I have to do so for your wisdom is truly treasured. I love you, My Alpha and still shall see you as
        * Shukie such. Giving Atraya a tender and loving nuzzle to her cheek fur she now looked out over the pack.
        * Rune tips her muzzle up to the sky, welcoming in the time of Alphess Shukie! The decision was complex, but well made, and she trusted her Alphas to make the right choices for the pack as they had done for so long. The Caretaker was content to stand by them.
        * Panther smiled as Shukie took her place on the alpha stone. A soft howl erupted from his maw, he dipped his head in her direction once his head lowered itself. His tassel wavering softly behind him.
        * Shakira howled like she never had before and figured she never would again, for how often was one able to witness the naming of an Alpha? Joy and sadness, excitement and heartache, new and old were one this night.
        * Shukie turned to gaze out upon the assembled pack as the howls echoed, the paws tamped the earth, “Some of you have been here longer than I while others not so much. Those of you who are new to the packlands, If you find this to be the home that you seek, I welcome you and will aid you all as needed to see you to becoming a full WolfSpirit. Some will remain while other’s will find
        * Shukie this is not quite what they want or prefer to continue to let their paws wander than establish roots and family. There is no right or wrong. It is all individual choices.” This was her welcome address as Alpha of WolfSpirits. She looked to Atraya now for the next event of the evening.
        * Timber And so this then was his answer, to a question he had put to Shukie only earlier that day.. A title earned, yet bestowed and honored without grasping or taking. But how did this flow w I the way of nature? Nevertheless he couldn’t deny the strength of the fae who was aptly suited for her new role as alpha. Undeterred as he was from is interest however he would stand tall with the other’s and give honor to the new alpha in a way he had never before.. By offering up.his low and rough toned howl. Never in his life had he howled with a pack, but if there was a time to take the step, it was now. Though he saw Shukie keeping her gaze beyond him as she’d done often before, he swept her a deep bow, before settling into.his haunches. She had much settling into her shoulders, and much now on her mind, least of all.himself.
        * Hati` would give a heartfelt howl as Shukie ascended the Rock to Atraya. She herself had now stepped back at this point and sat on her haunches and her tail sweeping back and forth along the ground.
        * Sanek now fitted his howl to the chorus, to make a harmony he loved hearing, it seemed that when he’d arrived the action in this pack escalated greatly, he felt honored to be witnessing this all.
        * Kova when she was asked to step forward, she did so with pride in her eyes and a wave of her tail. She bowed her head with a curt nod. Respectfully she responded “Yes, my Alpha’s” She waited for a moment before feeling her own chest well. “Having returned back to WolfSpirits many years ago with my sister, Shukie, I knew not what my path truly held here. From huntress, to Delta, I have »»
<Kova> »» done my best to live each breath for this pack, and for the legend it holds and continues to do. For those who make up this family.” She paused and looked around her and acknowledged all the new wolves, and old before she continued “It would be honor to take up your mantle. To learn, to grow, and to foster true spirit from this pack and those who’ve come before me. To teach the young, and »»
<Kova> »» to uphold the ways and pass those lore to the next generation.
        * Shukie listened, her voice still tight with emotion for herself, her alpha Atraya, her sister. Each of the pack had her throat tight where it cracked at times. “You have proved yourself beyond all and have always had my back in all things and I know you will continue to do so for the pack is part of our hearts, part of our souls and spirits. Come forth and stand beside us, as Beta Fae
        * Shukie of WolfSpirits.” She was choked up enough that she couldn’t get out all the words she wanted to say but woould wehn they had a moment to themselves. To the pack, “Your Beta of WolfSPirits. Kova.” she lifted her head now, howling for all she was worth for Atraya, herself and most of all, Kova, her voice vibrating as she also stomped her paws upon the Apha Stone.
        * Atraya would smile to Kova’s words. A night to remember, no doubt. Many changes, but so was life. She would bow her head in agreement to the promotion as she would lift her muzzle and howl for Kova! Proud for the fae.
        * Rune watches in admiration and fulfillment as Kova steps forward to take Shukie’s position. The Caretaker was proud to be one of the WolfSpirits as the night progressed it proved to Rune that both she and the pack were in good paws. As Kova accepts the role of Beta, Rune bark-howls to celebrate the new Beta fae.
<Calder> A lot to observe, no doubt. Upon Kova’s promotion he would think inwardly upon it before giving a dip of his head, and offering a quick short howl for the fae. He trusted the Alphas abilities and their decision to which wolf deserved of what. Goals, perhaps, for him to go for later on in.
        * Fianna would watch all the proceedings with an overwhelmed heart. It was so much, yet so great, this change for the pack and she struggled to keep her emotions at bay, leaning somewhat into Calder as she took in his scent and allowed it to calm her for once, rather than excite her. She focused ahead, but enjoyed his steady presence at her side as she watched Kova, spirit sister of her heart, though it hadn’t been yet acknowledged
<`Raven> she would feel her heart swell as the fae moved up in the ranks. When she was pronounced beta, Fianna again lifted her heart in song for the fae, for the pack.
        * CwnAnnwn found himself once more howling, this time to congratulate Kova on her advancement to beta. Watching both faes who came to the pack around the same time he returned the first time move up made him regret his wandering ways, he would have had a more meaningful role within the pack by now. Despite that, he knew that he would find that role eventually, whether it be scout, hunter
        * CwnAnnwn or guardian, he did not expect to become a caretaker as he was not wise in the ways of herbs and healing.
        * Atraya when the air subsided with the howls of tones of joy, she would dip her head and smiled chuffing then to Fianna and Kwa`ani. “Fianna and Kwa`ani… please come forward”
        * Shukie leaned over and nosed her sister whispering her congrats, love yas sister. So proud of you.
        * Shukie leaned over and nosed her sister whispering her congrats, love yas sister. So proud of you.
        * Panther smiled as Kova accepted the rank of beta fae. He turned his head up towards the moonlit sky, Panther closed his eyes and let loose a low howl. He wondered what his rank would be, since he was hunter for his older pack, Would that follow him into this one?
        * Timber would listen to the swell of voices, as Shukie offered more of her story, and the link between herself and Kova. Sisters.. He looked between the pair, intrigued to it all. His tail swayed as if on a pendulum and had not stopped doing do for some time. Wow, when this pack called a meeting they meant business! A lazy smile would linger on his muzzle, for once, not feeling the need to slink away into the night with so
        <`Raven> many wolves gathered.
        * Kwa`ani perked casting a glance to her sister then to her mother, Atraya and Shukie. She was beyond able to say much of all. Rising quickly she moved to stand before her Alpha’s, beside her sister giving a deep nod and bow before gazing to both.
        * Fianna perked as her name was called, and she found herself up and moving before she’d thought too much to what would come next. She had been in training for so long now, maybe rank? She felt excitement pickle her fur and she would settle beside Kwa’ani before the rock and chuff respectfully to let Atraya know they had come forth. Bracing her shoulder against her sister, she marveled that she could walk these paths, regardless of
<`Raven> their import, with her sister.
<Atraya> “Fianna and Kwa`ani… born of this pack, you have found your own path within WolfSpirits. You have taken the steps to pledge, to vow yourself, and to become part of this pack. You have been Guardian Scouts in training for a long while, and I would like to ask you both, if you are in agreement, to continue your path?” an ear turned towards the pair, eyes would be light despite the milky »»
        <Atraya> »» blindness.
        * Kwa`ani glanced to Fianna then back to her mum and Shukie. “This is home. WolfSpirits my Path. All I do is to ensure the furtherment of everyone and these lands. We’ve had ups and downs, good and bad and through all of it I know I’ve grown in ways I could never imagine. I desire to continue my path in whatever way you and Shukie see fit for me to do in the aid of our family.” giving a low
        * Kwa`ani dip of her »»
<Kwa`ani> »» head when she was done with a glance to her sister.
Fianna would hold quiet, looking to Kwa’ani as her sister spoke first, older by minutes her sister had been, in many ways, a solid presence for her, especially in recent months. Looking to her mother then, Fianna thought to her path, and to heart and work she had thrown into playing her part well, into seeing her pack thrive. She loved every moment of it. “Yes mother, I would. With all of my being, I desire to continue my path,
<`Raven> our path. This pack is my home, my life.”
        * Atraya would smile in the direction of her daughters. Truly proud. “As all lay witness to
        * Fianna and Kwa`ani’s words of approval to their duties, to their strength, and to their role here in WolfSpirits, I would like to have the honor of naming Fianna and Kwa`ani, WolfSpirits Guardian Scouts! May you find true your path, be true to your pack, and true to your spirit. Our pack will be well guarded and well scouted, and all should take comfort in your work and heart to see this pack safe.” she would stomp a paw and let loose a quick howl for both. There was a moment of pride a mother could feel for her children, this would truly strum true and strike a chourd.
        * Shukie gave a nod of approval to both fae’s, they had learned and grown much over the years. She couldn’t be prouder of them if they were her own pups. She was sure Atraya was beyond proud of their accomplishments which was evident in the words she chose. “Welcome as Guardian Scouts, Fianna, Kwa`ani” Giving a nothe loud howl (she’d be hoarse by morning at this rate) in congratulations.
        * Shukie “You have fully earned your positions and I’ve no doubt you will continue to do so.
        * Kova swung her tail quickly behind her and let loose a low howl for both fae’s! She was proud of the Alpha’s daughters, glad to see them ascend in their role to their pack. Truly their parents offspring!
<Calder> ‘s tail would thump, before hearing all the howls. He would feel the rumble in his chest, before letting loose his own for both Fianna and Kwa’ani. His heart swelled with pride for his court.
        * Fianna would feel excitement at being given the full rank at last settle upon her, as well the full responsibility. She knew of what it took, and would gladly offer it for as long as she could. With a happy howl she’d nip and lick at Kwaani’s cheek, her eyes alight with happiness. “Congratulations Kwaani!” She offered as she took a step back by Calder. Nosing him gently as she settled again.
        * Rune howls to congratulate the sisters on their new ranks, so many advancements in one day. As her howl draws to a close she looks around at the company of tonight’s meeting. It had been some time since she had seen the pack so full of life and change, a metamorphosis.
        * Kwa`ani stood taller and straigher giving her alpha’s a deep bow before lifting her head to howl then nuzzling her sister half pouncing her in the process. “we’re full guardians now, sis!” she tail wagged then howled again
        * Panther would let loose a howl of his own, as if adding a chorus to a song. he smiles lightly, and his tassel dances around behind him. He was excited, though who wouldn’t be? Panther had witnessed great things tonight, and he became a pledge. Would he wander off or would he stay? Only one way to find out.
        * Atraya as the howls and calls of joy for their fellow packmembers was so heart warming. She was so proud of her pack, of her family. “If no one else has anything they would like to bring up for this meeting, I would like to call it a very proud and productive night.” she swung her tail slowly and would wait to hear if anyone desired to share a word.
Fianna would once again perk, rising as she glanced to catch Kova’s eye. She had spoken long ago with Kova, bad shared hearts and her own had not changed, and so she would quietly rise once more to pad forth, chuffing and lookinf at Atraya and Shukie
        * Shukie stood tall, looking about as Atraya spoke, “A monumental day.” she leaned in and gently nosed Atraya. “Thank you for your trust in me and helping me to become the wolf I am. If not for you and faolan, I’d not be here now I don’t think. I hope I can be as good a mentor as you have been to all of us.” her tail wagging excitedly now. “Thank you all for all your time in being here for both meetings.”
        * Kova would swing her tail quickly behind her before stilling it as she would shake her head. She had nothing else to offer other than “Congraulations to every wolf. Thank you for your trust in me. I will not disappoint you all. My family.”
        * Atraya would hear the chuff of Fianna and smiled, turning to her daughter and chuffing back softly “Yes, Fianna?” she nudged Shukie lightly before allowing Fianna to continue.
        * Shukie shifted and gave a quick nod to Fianna, “Yes, Fianna?” her obsidian eyes alight when the fae spoke up
        * CwnAnnwn let his howl for Kwa and Fianna die down and listened to the final words from Atraya, Shukie and Kova. He cast a glance towards Rune before turning back to the Alpha rock as Fianna made it known that she wished to speak.
        * Panther tilted his head, he glanced to Sanek who seemed to be deep in thought. He glances back to The alpha rock and whoever stood upon it. He was proud of himself for whatever he done to rank as a pledge, It may not be that important to anyone outside of the WolfSpirits pack, but it meant something to be place with this family.
*Fianna “If I may, I know I have already had too many moments in the spotlight recently but I wanted to call Kova forth alongside me.” She turned to look at her, her eyes Ernest on the fae she had spent many years with now. “Months ago now Kova and I spoke of our shared hearts. As sister’s we have grown closer, I feel a bond with her that I recognize as that of family, and I wanted to ask Kova if she would be my sister In spirit. In heart. A bond I do not take lightly.” He gaze flicked to Kwa’ani for a moment, then centered and held on Kova.
        * Kwa`ani smiled at her sister as she spoke of the bonds that had formed with Kova. When Fianna glanced her way she gave a wide smile and nod showing her happiness. “what took so long, she whispered.” in a teasing tone.
        * Kova would look to Shukie, Atraya, Fianna and would pad forward to brush her frame against Fi’s own, if only to assert herself near. “This bond has also been equal to my own spirit. I wish this too.” she bowed her head and smiled up to the Alpha’s.
        * Sanek coughed a bit after howling this long and he looked around to the crowd of wolves again, never really hearing of the words ‘spirit sister’ it must’ve been a deep important bond.
<Calder> Looked between Fianna and Kova. He had no idea of the bond between them, but he learned each day the mechanics of the pack.
        * Panther smiled softly, He wanted to know more but knew it would have to wait. He looked around for Shakira so he could talk to her after the meeting, He was eager to apologize for his rude attitude towards her.
        * Shukie glanced to Atraya. This was to be the odd part of who would speak up when. They’d eventually get a routine down and she was sure all alphas went through this. Maybe not. As the two faes spoke of their bonds her gaze sought Timber’s but looked away before eyes could connect. Looking out over the two Faes, “A formal Spirit Bond is as much or moreso a special bond that one needs to
        * Shukie be sure of. As this has been a years in the making of this bond and clearly not one just to have a sister, brother, aunt or uncle etc. It would be my privillege to share this special bonding with all the pack and name you hence forth Spirit Sisters. It is a bond like no other. You are both blessed to find such a bond as what I have shared with Kova myself, tho we are blood.” With
        * Shukie a tamping of her paws and a deep nod to both faes to their reqeust. “Continue to cement and deepen the bonds now shared.” her smile wide.
        * Kova ‘s tail swung behind her as she would nose Fianna happily before looking to Shukie and Atraya. “Fianna is my equal. In Spirit, and in heart. It is my honor and pleasure to be bonded to you as a sister, Fianna. Thank you for expanding my foundation of family, I’m honored.” she would lick Fianna’s cheek happily as she felt the well of emotions course through her. Truly a proud day for all.
        * Fianna felt her heart swell omce again and wondered when it would burst. So had been taken away, and ye now so much had been given. She would nuzzle Kova, whispering to her, “Thanks sister. I just couldn’t wait any longer. Despite not seeing enough of you lately sisters we are. And always will be.” She found her tail wagging as she dipped her head respectfully to Shukie, then her mother “Thank you my alpha.” And then she would
<`Raven> be moving back to her place beside Calder, heart so full she could barely comprehend it all.
<Atraya> “Congratulations, to the two of you!” she said happily for her daughter and Kova. She looked across the gathered. “Does anyone else have anything else they like to bring up?”
<Calder> Would smile to the pair before he would lean in and nose Fianna when she rejoined him. Happy for her and her growth in her family.
Timber would not have fallen asleep, in fact he had been quietly absorbing all, his gaze most often lingering on Shukie, but at times he would study the other’s as well. This Spirit Bond, was yet another thing he had so little experience with. Seems he’d been living under a rock his whole life after all. A solitary life, one he had this far never disliked, would now be revealing itself to lack something that was perhaps more
<`Raven> important than he’d given credence to. Ties.. Bonds… Family. He tested the word in his mind.
        * Rune watches the final proceedings of the meetings with a light wolven smile on her face. She certainly did not foresee being witness to such momentous changes to the Pack’s history being made. The Caretaker was glad that her path had entangled with those of the pack, her paw prints walking alongside those of countless others.
        * Fianna would nuzzle Calder in return leaning in to him a bit, glad she had finally gotten a chance to ask for the bond between herself and Kova. Despite her new bond with Calder, her sister’s were and would always be near and dear to her heart. She had fought, hunted, worried, and ran with the winds with each of them.
        * Shukie finally relaxed no what the meetings was concluded. “Thank you all for being here for everythings tonight and at the meeting last week. It means more than you know.” Her tail wagging as she started to sit back” Leaning over to Atraya, “Anything for me before i wander off for the night?” She glanced to little Leora, a soft smile formed.
        * Atraya would give a gentle stomp of her paw so all the others could do what they needed to, to absorb all the new chapters made this night. “Thank you all for tonight. I’m honored by this family and by this pack. Thank you.” again her head dipped and she would seat herself and allow the meeting to dispurse.
